We are traveling 7/27/13, eastern carib (St Maartan and St Thomas) on Disney Fantasy. We are a multigenerational family with 2 children and 2 seniors that are mobile but not long distance and one should use a wheelchair for times of extended walking. We have our own collapsible wheelchair that we are traveling with. We would really like to go to Trunk Bay on St. John, but the seniors are not interested in snorkeling or long periods of sun exposure. Is there anything else to "do" there? Would we be able to get there somehow during our ported time and sightsee, check out the beach, maybe have some lunch? Could the seniors get a tour of the island while we sit on the beach or snorkel? Also, On St. Maartan is there a shopping only excusion or could they just get off the boat and safely shop on their own? Is there a sightseeing excursion that will allow a collabsible wheelchair or that does not have extensive walking. She can walk but just not for a long time. We do not want to go to the Coral world. We are not interested in wildlife on this trip. We want to see the islands and the beaches and do some shopping. the boys want to swim and possibly snorkel.
