Mission Space Refurb Summer 2017?

I saw Mission:Space is going down this summer but is supposed to be back online July 29,2017.
However, I cannot get FP+ reservations in mid-August.
Anyone know what's up?

Which is why I'm wondering why FP+ doesn't exist at all in August either...

Best guess is they give themselves a fudge factor. It's better to make guests select FPs later than it is to have to cancel ones already made.

From what I understand, and seen with other refurbs, they don't release FP at all until they have a solid opening date.

There is no solid opening date yet for the refurb as they are making some changes to the ride.

The graphics and story will see some changes. The ride system will stay the same but some needed upgrades will happen.
