Maybe a complicated ddp question

We were originally planning on checking in Sept 14, and checking out Sept 20. We have the regular dining plan.

We are wanting to add a day, and check out the 21st. Travel agent said that was fine, but the free dining promo is filled up at Pop, so we won't be able to have free dining on that last day. Which is fine.

BUT, I have now scheduled ADRs for the 20th. Will the dining credits work for those? They should since that was our original checkout day, and WAS included in the free dining package, correct?

Your dining plan credits are good until midnight on the day you check out, so you should be good for the 20th.

As long as you have credits leftover, they will be good until 11:59 PM on September 20.

Just remember your credits are based on the nights of your reservation not the number of days.

The one-night stay on the 20th will be a separate reservation from your first. One of you will have to go to the lobby on the 20th with MagicBands and register again. You can do so as early as 7am. It'll be quick, and probably you won't have to change your room, although it's a very rare possibility. With this change, you'll receive a second set of MagicBands in the mail prior to your trip. We've have 2 reservations at the same resort a few times 'cause of reasons like yours. Your dining credits for your first stay will be good thru 11:59:59pm on the 20th and isn't affected by the new check-in.

We'll have 6...we won't have dining on the new reservation. We check in Sept 14, and out Sept 20 on the dining reservation, so that's 6, right?

Your magic bands should all work interchangeably. The only glitch that you might have is to get the first set keyed to the new room. Your DDP will remain active until 11:59 p.m. on the 20th

Magic bands are interchangeable. There is no info stored "on" the band - the band just links to your account.
