Hello,

I am saddened to say. I had to postpone the cruise until May of next year :sad1: Some things came up that we are unable to go. I hope all of you have a great time. It was really nice corresponding with everyone.

Stacey

I'm really sorry to hear that, Stacey. I hope everything is ok and that you're able to rebook your cruise at a time that works out better for you.

Happy New Year everyone (just a little late!!)

Just a little housekeeping for the Fish Extender list.

-I have updated the lists as of today, and have answered all PM’s and posts that I could find.

-Please check the link for this cruise and make sure I have your entire information correct, if not – PLEASE send me a PM with any corrections needed.

-I added the quantity of cabins under the heading of Cabin #

-I will make a post at the 75-day mark with the consensus of when to close the list. May 25th cruise – 75 days is Mar 11

-This will allow anyone who wants to join to do so

Thanks for the FE update. I was curious how many we might end up with on the list and when you were thinking of closing it.

Does anyone know if Fantasyland is going to be semi-finished when we get there? I heard beginning of 2012.

I had a few ?'s I 4got to ask. Has any one found out if we will get some kind of meal plan when we are at Disney world? And also My son and I were going to do Atlantis but it's just the two of us and i'm a little scared getting from the ship there and back. is there a group that goes or do we just kind of "wing" it? Yes i'm sure you can tell I have never cruised lolo. :confused3

ahhhhhhhh 135 more days!! :)

Yay!!!! :yay:

The last that I read, it wasn't going to be done by the time of our cruise, but I haven't checked on that lately. I wonder if someone over on the Resorts Board might have the latest info...??

There hasn't been any mention of a meal plan for our WDW/Port Canaveral day. We do know that we can reserve a spot on a park-specific bus when the date opens to book excursions.

Regarding Atlantis, are you referring to doing an excursion through the cruise line, or just going there on your own? I'm the type of person who feels better in a group while in a new or strange place, so if it were me and one of my sons (when they were younger; they're both adults now), I'd definitely book the excursion through Disney so that we'd be with other cruisers.

Having said that, I know that there have been several threads out on the main Cruise forum where people have said that they've taken their own transportation to Atlantis and it worked out great, but I don't know the specifics about purchasing tickets for the water park and/or the aquarium part of the resort.

I am booking the Atlatis trip threw Disney. So I will be transported with other fellow cruisers. That gives me peace of mind. I really think they should include some kind of meal plan I hope they get it worked out in time. Well thanks for the info

My family and friends are doing Atlantis thru DCL. which one are you doing ?

I havent read anything about a meal plan. You think they are feeding us too!? Would be nice but I tought it was just a park ticket.

I know we can start booking a bus time for WDW come March, right?

Shore excursions are the same - do we need to pay for those in FULL at time of booking --- We normally get off the ship and do our own exercusions.. so if I need to save more money to pay for Atlantis by March, it would be good to know.

Also, has anyone found out if we get a lunch on WDW day? I tend to doubt we will, just thought i'd ask again as it was brought up by another poster!

I would be really surprised if Disney was giving us food. I think just the ticket and transportation are included.

Also, from what I remember from our cruise last year, you pay for all excursion on your onboard account, so I don't think you will pay for it now.

Thanks Caryn...

I'm sure food wasn't/isn't included, was just something stuck on my mind since reading here on the boards.

As for Atlantis, you might be right - on board spending.. I'm sure you just book it or they pencil you in and you pay for it at the end of the cruise, etc.

If its not too much trouble, could people who haven't already indicated on the list what gender they or their children are please update the list? Blame it on me being an English girl, but some of the names I'm not too familar with and sound as if they could be male or female! Some of my gifts look a bit girlie, and I'm sure wouldn't be appreciated by a man (although I could be mistaken, so no offence meant to anyone!), so would be really helpful for me (and I'm sure others!). Thank you. :thumbsup2

Still not bought flights, am watching them every day, and they have gone up and stayed up. Going to have to hope they come down a little nearer the time!

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!!

Well it looks like we move into the new house on February 28th and out of our house on the 29th. The master bath in the new house is black and white, Nicole and I will use that one, we are thinking of a mickey theme...:thumbsup2

Does anyone know about the Atlantis beach excursion? I click on the link, and don't see any link after that.

It's a long weekend, enjoy.... I'll be packing!!!!

:thumbsup2

Best of luck packing...

Is this the information you were looking for?

Atlantis Beach Day
Location: Nassau
At a Glance
Activity Type: Splashtacular and Family Adventures
Activity Level: ModerateHelp
Duration: 4 to 6 hours
Adult Price: $95 (ages 10 and up)
Child Price: $59 (ages 3 - 9)
Ages: All Ages
On this tour you will:
Drive approximately 25-minutes through Nassau as you make your way to the world-renowned Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.
Atlantis is home to the world's largest open-air marine habitat, where 14 fascinating exhibits and 13 sparkling lagoons brim with more than 50,000 sea creatures representing 250 species.
Following an orientation of the resort, embark on a self-guided tour of the "ruins" of ancient Atlantis in The Dig, an elaborate replica of an actual archeological site. Explore a labyrinth of underground passageways brimming with large viewing windows filled with exotic marine life.
After your visit of the Dig, make your way to Atlantis' beach and enjoy the rest of the day in the comfort of a beach chair or swimming in the stunning Caribbean Sea.
Then, savor a delicious lunch (included in the price of this tour) with options such as burgers, wraps, pizza, salads and more at one of several kiosks located on the property.
Why not visit the luxurious casino — awash with decorative glass sculptures that jet into the sky — and try your luck at slots, blackjack or craps; or, spend some time shopping in the upscale Marina Village.
Finally, after your visit, embark on a short 10-minute walk back to the bus pick-up before beginning the approximate 15-minute drive back to the pier. Note: Return transport runs every half hour from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Guests choose their own return time.

I'm undecided about this and the aquaventure, we are waterpark people... so we might just do that

georgette- is there just a price for the water park? That would be fun! So as most of you know, we booked this trip for Matthew our son, so that he had something positive to focus on through his 2 brain surgeries, well we just celebrated 3 months from the last surgery, and so far we are seizure free!!!:cool1::cool1: Hopefully by the time of the trip, we will be able to lower his medication which has a huge affect on what we are able to do.

:banana::cool1::thumbsup2:yay::dance3::cheer2::grouphug:

:) Go happy for you!!

Okay - well, there is a seperate charge for the waterpark.. I'm looking to pay $169.00 per adult, Caitlin is a little less, unsure as I type this - I forget! :rotfl2:
Little brain dead today!

It's just for the waterpark.. no beach for us, we aren't allowed.. unless they double check you along the way.

That's a thread I'm going to start later on - we are off to Girl Scouts to a Cookie Kickoff ;) Selling GS is on it's way!!!

Off topic again, and I don't want to start a religious debate :) But will anyone on the FE list be offended if you were to receive a cup with Mickey Mouse on it, with a Santa hat? Or McQueen with the same?

I wanted to use them instead of huge bags to put stuff in - eeek, now you know part of your FE gift :))

I just don't want to offend anyone is all ;)

Thanks!
Enjoy - speak later!
