I just decided to take a quick trip May 27-30. We are going to stay at the Tropicana. It will be myself, my girls (8,4), 2 friends with their son (8) and another friend and her granddaughter (7). It is going to be amazing to share my favorite place with good friends and all the wonderful kids! We are going to drive up from Phoenix and we are going to surprise the kids. Can't wait!

We're going!!!

It will be myself (30) and my mother (58) we are arriving May 9th at night and will be in the Anaheim area until May 21st. We plan on doing Disneyland 4 or 5 days during that time frame splitting the time between the two theme parks and DTD. We also want to explore Hollywood/LA/Southern CA a bit.

We are staying at the Homewood Suites Garden Grove as I was able to get a 1 bedroom suite for $109 a night and given we will spend so long in the area and out exploring the area staying on Disney property wasn't a priority for us.

This is our first trip to Disneyland, DCA but my mother has been to CA for business 30 years ago so she knows a little about the area but we are excited to see the area and the theme parks. We live close enough to WDW to hear the fireworks each night but this will be fun to go on vacation to a Disney Park and have it be totally new for us!

Excited as we are 100 days away from leaving for CA today

My best friend (for over 20 years) and I are going on our yearly Girls trip May 7th through May 12. Staying at the Grand DVC 1 bedroom villa. It's a very special trip as we are celebrating my 36th birthday and Mother's Day together! I'm really hoping POTC will be open x(fingers crossed)x it's our favorite and the first ride we always go on ever trip. We are super excited, can't wait!!

120 days for us! 2nd trip for our family of 6, but its been 3years. We'll celebrate DH's 50th bday at Napa Rose and DS' 12th at BTRR BBQ, not the same day. Girls want to do pixie hollow and cars land. We have 5 days and may add a 6th.

We will be there May 24th-31st for our first (and maybe only) trip to DL!!! It will be me, DH, DS 15, DD 12, & DD 7, and we are SO excited!!! We are WDW vets, so this is a totally new adventure for us! Can't wait!!!

Me, my husband, son (5), and daughter (2) are staying May 3rd-8th at Park Place Inn!

I just realized Pirates will be closed while we are there!! I was okay with all of the other refurbs but now I am extremely disappointed. Ugh. It is my favorite ride.

My husband and I are going May 2 - May 10th for our first ever Disneyland trip!! I was fortunate enough to rent DVC points for our whole stay so we're staying in a studio at the Grand Californian. We're going to be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary. I'm so excited, we're doing the parks four days and exploring LA and the beaches around us. I'm not letting the ride closures get me down, this is our first trip to Disneyland and even if some rides aren't open we'll still be in Walt's park soaking it all in. I'm not letting anything ruin this trip!

Meaning when I am there... Pirates, Indie, Space and the Carousel will be down. Aswell as Ariel, Tough to be a Bug and GRR? I'm pretty good about keeping up good spirits but this is a little ridiculous...

I know I feel ya I feel ya.. I can't even really change my dates to something a bit more suitable because the rides are either about to be up just after I leave or they close too early in the month.

I could change them to Fall but then knowing my luck the other 1/2 of the rides will be down

We can't change either. Everything is already booked
And we planned this trip so that our toddler would still be free (he turns 3 this summer.)

I would gladly trade Soarin for GRR which was how the schedule looked up until yesterday.

So long as Indy, ST, ToT, CS, Matterhorn and Splash are all up we should be OK but man, kind of a bummer that Space and POTC will be down at the same time. I totally forgot about the mystery that is BTMRR, hopefully that is up and running too. I'm thinking that redone dates for POTC and Indy are becaus they know that BTMRR will be back running.

Well, I was really excited to visit DL but now my excitement is cut in half because half of the rides I was looking forward to will be closed.

I am thinking of cutting our DL days in half and getting ticket to Universal.

Indie is scheduled to be down while we are there, which hurts. Absolute all time favorite. But I could get over it if at least Space was open which the map says it will be. So heres hoping!!!

I agree - I will happily take Soarin over GRR. But Pirates would be a real downer. So far I haven't seen Pirates OR GRR as being down on the map though so we can hope

We will be there, May 24-31st! Our AP's expire on June 1st, so this will be our last trip for awhile

We will be going there May 11-17 from Summerland, BC. The refurbs are a bummer but what can we do. This will be the first trip with the kids and they will still enjoy it. Looking forward to it.
