Hi all, a couple of questions: We're staying at a fairfield Inn in Marriott Village for Memorial Day weekend. Are the pools 'common areas' for
all the hotels on the grounds? e.g. Can Fairfield's geusts use Courtyard's pool etc? Also,
are there any restaurants on the grounds besides fast food? Any other tips or reviews appreciated. -Thanks.

Stayed at the SpringHill once. Don't really know if you can hop from one pool to the other or not. All three pools are very nice though, and fairly comparable.

The Fairfield and SpringHill both have rather elaborate complimentary continental breakfast buffets (better than what you would expect for their respective chains.) The only on-site restaurant is at the Courtyard. There is also a food court in the Fairfield. Next door (just a very short walk) is a Bahama Breeze restaurant, which we enjoyed very much and is on our list of restaurants to go back to. (it does get quite crowded tho during peak dining hours).

In addition to the Bahama Breeze, they are currently building a Golden Corral. There is also a Lone Star Steakhouse and Landry's Seafood restaurant just across the hotels. Both are reviewed well.
Enjoy!

Yes you can use the other pools. We stayed at the Fairfield for 2 nights about 3 weeks ago and it was nice. It was raining the night were wanting to swim so we went to the Courtyard pool which is an indoor/outdoor pool. The only way to get into the pool area was to use your room key to unlock the gates around the pool.

They have a really nice big area set up for the free breakfast. But I didn't see any place else to eat except the food court area. The food court area is located in the Fairfield so it is nice and close but the only seating they have is outside. So since it was raining the whole time we were there we had to eat in our room. They had a Pizza Hut express, TCBY, salad & deli place, and hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken sandwiches. Plus a little general store in the food court with snacks, beer and wine.

The only thing I didn't like about the place was the bus transportation. They do not run very often at all and you want to be waiting for the bus when leaving the park since they will not wait for you! It said pick up at 5:20 and there were about 8 people waiting and when it pulled up that bus was only there long enough for the 8 people to get on and sit down and then it drove off. My watch said 5:23 so be sure to be on time for the bus or wait and hour for the next one.

Sorry to ramble have a great trip!!
OH BTW, the Premium outlet is just down around the curve from this hotel with a disney store in it!! Enjoy!
