Anyone watching this?

It's a "reality show" featuring 3 couples who meet each other on their wedding day. Their spouses were chosen by four specialists (a sexologist, a spiritual adviser, a psychologist and a sociologist) for compatibility.

Does anyone think Jamie is going to back out of marrying Doug?

Hi UR! Hope all is well with you.

I saw a clip this morning on Kathie Lee & Hoda.
Was that the blonde man and the girl with the long brown hair?
If so, I'm gonna say she's gonna run. She looked like she was not into him at all.
I just set my DVR to record it tomorrow so I can see the whole episode and catch up.

This should be an interesting show.

I don't get the channel this is on but I've seen commercials for it and I have to say I was curious. Do you know if they'll be replayed on like a "sister" station or if they're available online?

Turn off the TV and pick up a book. I will admit to 'following' the Bachelor but rarely even watch whole episodes of that. Don't you have a garden to tend too? lol! ;)

Yes, the long brown haired woman and the blonde man, her face kinda dropped when she saw him. If I recall correctly, the staff paired these two because they both had outgoing personalities and liked to have fun.

Hope you've been well too, lorimay, it's good to see you. :goodvibes

I think it's highly likely they'll repeat this show maybe later this summer on Lifetime or that other "women's" station. It doesn't look like you can see it online.

Oh gawd, we don't watch the Bachelor in this house!!! :crazy2: This "social experiment" show was on late last night and I'd already seen all the latest Housewives shows so I turned it on with no intentions of putting it on my viewing list, but alas, I do have to tune in next week to see if Jamie leaves poor Doug at the alter. ;)

In fact it was on after my Haves and Have Nots soap opera! :lmao:

And no, no garden, too damn hot for a garden. :crazy2:

She looked like she was totally not into him, the other couples seem like they have more hope...

Yeah, I happened upon it while switching channels. What a train wreck!:rolleyes1 I don't for one minute believe they are "legally married" with a legal marriage license.

I think she'll go along with it. The producers will convince her to give it a try. ;)

Here's a small world thing, my sister actually dated Doug in high school! She says he was the nicest guy she ever dated. And she is hearing thirdhand through her friend grapevine that they are married.

I think this first episode is a free on iTunes. I don't have cable so I'll have to check out the free one.

The concept sounds interesting.

Her name wasn't Darva Conger by any chance, was it?

Doug got his moles removed yesterday.

Update! He didnt get them removed! He joked about it and faked bandages. What?!

Not sure why I'm watching this show. I'm not normally into this type of thing, but I guess it's summer, and there's not much else on. But now that I've started, I want to see how it turns out.

I think Jamie does go through with it -- eventually. You can tell she doesn't want to, and maybe she will step out for a while, but it looks like she does go through with it, from what the preview of the next episode. It's like they are sitting next to each other, at a table at the reception. And I think I saw a clip somewhere of her sitting on his lap, saying, "I'm not kissing him."

I think all three couples seem like good matches. Maybe not perfect matches or soul mates, but I think the experts did a good job.

Jamie the one marrying Doug was on The Bachelor.
Google Ben and Jamie awkward kiss, its painful to watch.
I can't believe they put her on this show after she did the bachelor.
They are pushing it as a real experiment of matching people who are perfect matches on paper and then they put a reality ***** on the show.

Ah, so she gets around. ;)

Coincidently, I just watched this last night-I had recorded this. My first thought after I watched this is "Do I have all of the other shows of this series recorded?" Boy, this was definitely my kinda train wreck show! I already LOVE it!

Have you seen the commercials for this new show?
Each episode features a man and woman and two different naked dates each. In the end, they'll choose one to move forward on their dating adventure — possibly with clothes.

VH1's ‘Dating Naked’

That looks like a train wreck. ::yes:: :rotfl:

Heading to my TV now to look it up. Sounds interesting. I always say in defense of my love for these mindless TV shows-"I use my brain at work [I do taxes], so when I'm home, I want to let my brain rest." Dating Naked sounds like a good brain-rest show.

I had never heard of this show but now I'm hooked! I can't wait to see the next episode. :rotfl2:

Now I'm going to check out this naked dating thing. Can you tell I'm bored?:rotfl2:
