Thoughts on them? Do I try it or not? We love different kinds of food. Do the belly dancers before all the time only at dinner or random? I think my girls would love to se that. Also there is nothing my kids will eat on their kids menu but I am hoping they would make up a grilled cheese or something basic they would eat. Do I risk it?:confused3

Last trip I did not want to eat there. Not one bit. I was so excited when ADR day came and they listed Marrakesh as booked solid and booked Coral Reef instead but when I told DH he was so disappointed I knew I had to call and see and sure enough, Marrakesh was wide open so I changed it. I can't tell you how much I dreaded the meal. Then we ate there and I loved it. The belly dancer got my shy boys up and dancing, the food was incredibly good even though as I ordered it I thought yuck. Out of our six meals it ranked second only to 'Ohana in our family that trip. The only reason we didn't book it again was because I didn't want to be stuck to a park on a given day because the kids are dying to swim and we have a day for just the resort and Nov. weather is too unpredictable. The only thing I will say I'd the olive chicken comes with a lot of olives much to my sons delight but I can't stand them so don't order that unless you like olives. I had the Sultan Sampler and couldn't get enough.

NOTE: Restaurant Marrakesh serves flavorful specialties, using a long
list of herbs and spices including saffron. A favorite appetizer is bastilla
(fried pastry) that has layers of pastry with chicken seasoned with
Almonds, sugar and cinnamon. During lunch and dinner, a belly dancer
entertains with live Moroccan music (sensual, but not at all risque). If
you like new things (spices) it is a good change of pace.

We love it..Our 8 yr old also loves it.Not sure if they will accomodate a request to make something for the kids that is off menu

Had eaten there a few years ago - one of the few restaurants in Epcot we could get into without an ADR

Didn't have high expectations but it turned out to be one of our fave meals of the trip!

I think a grilled cheese is a not going to happen due to the cuisine itself, yellow American cheese and white bread is not part of the culture, probably not part of their kitchen ingredients. But they will serve the pasta without sauce and/or meatballs, with just butter if that helps!
