Marathon Weekend in Jan

Going during marathon weekend in jan. Noticed on touring plans that epcot is a 7+ for crowds on friday. Has anybody been there during the 5K and is it really that busy that we should alter plans.

DW and I were at WDW last year during Marathon week. First of all...I must say...it was COLD! Were in HS during the marathon and it was a nightmare getting around the park. You almost had to reconcile to staying in one half of the park because it was next to impossible to get to the other side.

Otherwise, the rest of the week wasn't bad. Magic Kingdom was very crowded but primarily around Fantasyland.
