Bama_Ed,
I used the tracker last year at my first runDisney event...10k. I left my phone with my husband since I did not want to use my time for pictures...I was afraid the balloon ladies would catch up with me! The tracker sent to my phone my start time, 6:03 am, and Elapsed time, 32:15, which was exactly what I had since I wore my watch. I was in corral D and knew the time on the mile markers would not be my elapsed time. The tracker sent a second text once I completed a 5k with Elapsed time, my pace time, and my anticipated ETA.
The third and final text was my Finish and Pace time. I have of course saved all this on my phone. I suppose with the Marathon there will be several more texts sent.
I was wondering after the race was over and on my way back on the bus whether or not the tracker had reported that I slipped and fell on the Boardwalk (thought that would be funny if it did) and was held up for 5 mins, which I'm glad it did not, because DH would have been worried.
