We did not know what to expect in this area. This was our first cruise. All of us have flown many times, rode busses, trains and been on half-day boat rides and not suffered at all, but to be on the safe side, we did purchise Bonine before we left.
We tried it out before the cruise. DW experianced dry mouth, DH was drousy and DD (half-tablet) did just fine.
On the cruise, none of us needed it. The gentle movement of the ship was like the rolling of a passenger car on a train, moving from side to side.
One night on the cruise, we had about +40 kph winds and you could feel the movement more than any other time. I did see several with patches on and 1 or 2 with wrist bands, but did not see any green faces or anybody feeding the fish. :(
Over all, we had a great trip:)
