Magic Kingdom park hours

Why is Magic Kingdom closing at 10pm all of June into July when last year they were open some nights 11pm some nights midnight?

It typically closed at midnight to 1 am last year, and I'm hoping they expand the hours closer to June & July. People here keep saying they will!

Either hours simply haven't been extended yet (A good possibility), or simply a cost cutting measure thanks to Shanghai.

I'd wager the former.

While opinions vary, I think they are restructuring the way they look at post-10 pm hours. I could be wrong, but if I were planning a MK visit, I would assume they'll be open until 10 for regular park visitors, later during EMH hours and then DAH events.

This June may be too quick to implement the change, but I do think they are coming.
