I really wouldn't bother buying the transfers. The airport and the shipport are almost right next to each other, and you can take a cab for around 20-40Euro depending on how many bags you have with you. Much cheaper (and faster) than taking the transfers.

Yup, walked from our hotel to the port - to look at it not board, the last time we were in BCN. We are doing the transfers for convenience.

I googled it and it's 4km away from the Le Meridien. The Hilton is on Avenida Diagonal which is one of the main streets. There is a huge BCN mall there. I believe the Hilton was one of the hotels DCl used for their pre-nights. I remember seeing the hotel and you gave me an idea about points for pre- nights!

There isn't one that leaves on June 17th in the Med. Do you mean the 12-nighter on June 27th?

We stayed in the Hilton in 2007. Real nice hotel with a roof top pool. Across the street from a huge mall. The subway is a block away and we used it a couple times to get to Las Ramblas and down town. Easy to use plus one block from the beach and we ate in a couple local resturaunts that had FABULOUS local cuisine. Went through Disney for the reservations and transfers and we checked in at the hotel so when we arrived at the ship we by passed the long line to board. We will be going back in 2013 and we also cruised the Magic in 2007 (ignauguration cruise) and 2009. Malta was one of our favorite stops.
