I used to be a poster when I could help (not much of a Disney expert yet), but then I became sort of a thread-killer. So I stopped posting in fear of killing more threads and depriving people of the useful information that they were looking for
I call it lurking for the greater good.
But my story is that I'm from MA, then WI, then CT, now MA again, went to Disney World a few times as a kid, then met my fiance who suggested that we take a trip to Disney one spring break. From that point on, I realized how serious his addiction was, but by that point, there was no escape
I very quickly got hooked on the podcast, loved reading the boards, killed a few threads, had an awesome spring break trip, began planning the next trip almost as soon as we got home from the first, and now we're getting married in October and planning our honeymoon at the World!
We're also joining the crew on PCC 3.0 and we're super excited!! It's been my dream to meet celebrities like the podcast team...
(I apologize now in anticipation of killing this thread...it's been fun while it lasted...)
Thanks Kathy for the warm invitation to coax lurkers like me onto the boards!! I'm a serious semi-lurker. 
I graduate in May as a software specialist but my real career is the boards! 
My husband says I'm addicted to "Dis-crack" and need an intervention! He'll ask me what I'm doing and say: "Are you being Dis-whacked?" (he thinks that's a verb!) But he's still my Prince Charming and serious Disney enabler. 
I just started posting but I don't feel like much of an expert. Just waiting until what I have to say is more useful than a trap door in a canoe. But I look forward to joining in on a Podcast cruise. I'd like to meet everyone including Podcast Kathy and Kevin, who taught kindergarten up here in North near my home. Thanks to you, your team and all of the wonderful Disers for such a wonderful resource. "Let the memories begin!"
