Anyone been to lunch at Cinderella's castle? I know it's not a character meal, but I've heard that sometimes you can see Cinderella in her throne. Anyone done this? I could';t get breakfast at the Royal Table and we have PS for Norway Princess Storybook breakfast, but we really want to see Cinderella. Thanks for any advice.

I have eaten lunch at CRT twice. There is a waiting area downstairs with Cinderella's throne. She wasn't there the first time but she was the second and I was able to get some nice pictures with her. Both times I had a late PS. I thought the food was very good.

We have eaten lunch there twice and I LOVE IT!!!! Last time we had one of the first PSs of the day and got a table by the window overlooking the Carosel. The food is fantastic!!!! The rolls the give you melt in your mouth! I highly recommend eating lunch there if you can't get a breakfast PS.

I ate their June 2004 and thought that the food was good. The price wasn't bad (we didn't get an appetizer or dessert). I had the apricot bar-b-que chicken and it was really good. We saw 3 princesses and Captain Hook was chasing Peter Pan around the outside of the castle during our lunch.

We ate lunch there once. My dh said for my birthday I want to feel like a king and eat in a castle, we said o.k. The ds thought it was cool to see what is really up there. We had bad seats and a bad view, this was due to our party size of 5. I faced the elevators. My ds could really care less about seeing cinderella. But when we were done eating little ds came with me down the elevator and the others decided to take the stairs down, well guess what, when we pushed the elevator button, who came out but none other than Cinderella herself. Amazing. She didnt sign autographs but I was so shocked, I said surprise!! She told ds, why young prince, what a lovely greeting, lol!! I guess if you time it right between the show she might be in the lobby.

We've had lunch there twice...once in 2000 and once in 2003. We have never seen characters for lunch. We'll be going back in December, though. I love the atmosphere and the food.

I've eaten lunch there 5 times-with a 6th PS for May. Watch around the balcony outside too. Pan and Captain Hook have been known to run from one side to the other and wave in the windows as they go. And I've also seen the Fairy Godmother downstairs. I recommend the chicken caesar salad. Yummy!

I have had lunch at CRT twice and both times Cinderella was in the waiting area. I always schedule lunch for as soon as a place opens or there abouts.
It is a wonderfull restaurant as far as ambiance. I do think the food is just okay though. The menue is appitizing but the food is just a bit bland or well... I ordered the Apricot chicken breast which comes with some sort of slaw and onion strings on top of a peice of apple cake. Each individual item was good but it didn't quite work togther. The rest of the group (3 people) ordered Major Domo's Favorite pie and they all said it was just okay. Previously I had ordered the Coachman sandwich which was not very flavorful. Nothing has been bad but nothing has been exciting either.

We have eaten lunch here quite a few times and have always had a tasty meal. This past November our server wasn't great, but that can happen anywhere. We enjoy the Major Domo's pie. We have always seen either Cinderella or her Fairy Godmother either on our way in or out of the restaurant. princess: pirate: :earboy2:

How hard is it to get a priority seating for lunch. My trip is 20 days away, am I out of luck, or could I still get a reservation?

DH, DS12, MIL & I ate lunch here in October.
MIL & I had our picture taken w/the Fairy Godmother & Cinderella. It was a great way to see them w/out overdoing it for the boys

I wish I knew. They've cut down hours for lunch so I'd think it would be hard. A few years ago, I think it was 2000 and then again in 2001, if you didn't call right on the 90 day mark, you were out of luck it seemed. But then I called last year and again this year both times within a few weeks and had no problem getting PS. So call and you may get lucky!

We ate lunch there once, but probably will not again. We did not run into any characters. The food was just okay. The thrill of being "in the castle" was not as potent as I expected it would be for my kids or as I remember as a teenager. :confused3

We always make it a plan to eat there for lunch...out of 3 trips we've seen her twice at lunch time...but only for a passing through wave and smile...but if you want to see her you can go to the fair section over there by Mickey/Minnie's house...across from Goofy's Barnstormer and she is usually there for pictures and autographs along with her mice Perla and the other one...so you should have no problem seeing her...

Enjoy!

We went for lunch last April. Cinderella & Aurora were both in the lobby & we got great pics of us with each of them. DW had the side salad & I had the soup of the day. We split the Coachman's sandwich. We loved the salad & soup but the sandwich was only ok. It was a great experience to acutally be inside the castle!

We had a great lunch here last month. We walked into the throne room and there was Cinderella, alone (with her CM escort). My DD's face just lit up. Cinderella called her over, invited her to sit next to her on the throne, and they just talked for a few minutes. Wonderful!
We all enjoyed our lunches, most of our party had to Majordomo Pie and I had the vegeterian dish, very yummy. We all enjoyed our waiter's "My Lord" and "Your Highness" stuff. The Pretzel bread is to die for! We didn't find the prices to be out of line for DW.
As far as getting a PS, just keep trying -- and even try the morning you get to the park, they might fit you in.

I just got a PS for CRT lunch. I did not call right on the 90 day window date. It can do no harm to call and try to get a PS.
