love using airport lounges to escape the business of airports but have never booked one for MCO. Is there a bookable lounge at MCO?
It's very small. You'll get the usual main line drink and aftershave. But not much else!No decent Duty Free Shop either at MCO.
So take your last few hours at your resort / villa then go for a light meal then airport . Get through security & then relax near your departure gate ........ less stress but boring .
Meant thanks for all the replies. Looks like we'll just have to make do without
Count us in on that. For us, this is MCO's greatest gift. As much as we like to grab some last minute duty free, we'd rather camp out at the bar inside McCoy's or in the lobby lounge and go airside as late as possible. Far better than any airport lounge we've experienced.I know a few people used to camp out in the Hyatt hotel for a few hours before going through security.
We left about 1hr 15 to do security last time, just enough for a beer at the bar before walking to the gate
We leave an hour fifteen for security too. Arrive at airport two hours before flight at the most. Check in, coffee and last shop, security, quick duty free then if the flight is on time you're just about off.
