Loop Suggestions

Any suggestions on what would be a better loop to stay in?? The last time we stayed near the Trading post/ campfire area and really liked it ( can't remeber what loop )
I have 4 kids , 5 ,8, 11 , 14 and we all would have our bikes,
We did like being somewhat central- with all the changes I am not to sure what is our best option.

Top of my list is 800 and 900 loops. I also like the 1000 loop for the proximity to the Meadows.

A lot depends on what level of site you have booked and when are you staying??

If you have a preferred site, then your choices are 100, 200, and 300

If you have a premium site, then your choices are 400, 500, 600, 800, 1400 (and maybe 700 depending on when the renovations are complete)

If you have a full hookup site, then your choices are 1600, 1700, 1800, and 1900 (and maybe 900, 1000, 1100 depending on if/when they are renovated to premium)

If you want to be near the pool, etc, then 1400 is a great loop for premium

300 is your closest preferred loop to the pool

900 and 1600 are your closest full hookup loops

We will get to the Fort on April 19th , I belive I am booked for a premium site ( I need to look at my reservations when I get home from work!)

This past time we stayed at the 800 loop very close to camp fire and meadows training post. If you want to be near the marina you will want to stay in the 400 loop or 700 loop 100 and 200 are not private at all.

Originally they were suppose to be preferred, but new info is they stayed full hook up, so now are different then 100 thru 300 only by location but same ammenities.

Nobody is sure. The initial announcement has indicated that there would be no Full Hookup sites once the renovations were complete. HOWEVER, once the renovations began, apparently there were lots of grumblings about the 1600-1900 loops being in the same category as the 100-300 loops. There are full hookup sites showing up in the system through the end of 2009 being reservable, and also from conversations with CMs at Ft. Wilderness, there is a strong indication that 1600-1900 will remain Full Hookup after all renovations are complete.
