That was my thought.

Do they look like holes in the ground or are they mounds with holes? When we moved to Oklahoma I kept seeing mounds everywhere especially in the spring. I'd never seen anything like it. I finally asked our exterminator and he said they were pocket gophers. If it's just holes I would assume prairie dogs.

At my house, it's the stupid armadillos. I'd gladly ship them all to Utah!

I'm willing to bet they are prairie dogs, we have them by the thousands here. I drive to work and they play frogger in front of my car....one will start running across the road, and then they all go for the next 1/4 mile!
