Lindbergh Bay - St. Thomas

Has anyone been to Lindbergh Bay on St. Thomas? I did find an old DISboards thread but I'm curious to see if anyone has been there recently and what the experience was like. I'm interested because of the lesser crowds, chair/umbrella rentals and also the playground nearby. It is by the airport though so a little concerned on noise level.
