Noccalula Falls in my hometown of Gadsden Alabama.

Legend says an Indian princess jumped to her death from the ledge of the falls on her wedding day because her father arranged a marriage to a man that she did not love. her heart belonged to someone else. :sad1:

Sure. :)

They were all taken with my Canon 30D - I am pretty sure it was the 28-135IS lens (handheld - although I kinda propped MYSELF against something ;) ).

#1 - shutter speed 0.3, aperture f/10, ISO 200

#2 - shutter speed 0.3, aperture f/9, ISO 200

#3 - shutter speed 0.3, aperture f/22 ISO 100 (sun finally came out)

white balance was on auto I think - and I was shooting - I wanna say shutter priority but without pulling up each individual file I am not 100% on that.

thanks jen

and bob..woohoo the yosemite falls one is beautiful

These are the closest I get to waterfalls!! I'm afraid we don't have the water or the mountains for waterfalls!! Never mind - these are from our botanical gardens taken in July on a camera learning expedition. They are located in a greenhouse of tropical plants, and it is basically a small pond with rocks!!
I love all the other photos - waterfalls are very photogenic! Thanks everyone for sharing your photos.

They are just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!! Also, when you shoot the waterfalls with slower shutter speed of 3 seconds, do you use a tripod or are you just doing the holding your breath trick?
