Legoland Costco tickets - need to show card?

Do you need to show your Costco membership card when you use these tickets at the park? My MIL wants to purchase them for us as a gift, but would not be coming with us to the park. She is a costco member but we are not.

I bought universal tickets with my moms membership and they never asked for an id.

I buy lots of my travel stuff through Costco and nobody ever asked for a card.

Last time I went to Legoland I used a link someone put up on here for employees of some bank (in another state, obviously I'm not a member) and we used them. The employees at Lego just scanned them in and sent us on our way. As long as its a valid ticket they don't care.
