Lake Buena Vista Resort Village or Other Recs?

Any feedback on this resort? We are a family of 4 and like the idea of a kitchen and the kids having their own room and bathroom. We will have a car, but the website says they offer transportation to some parks.

Any other recs for places that are close to the parks and have 2 bedrooms would also be appreciated.

We stayed here 6 years ago in December. We loved the size of the apartment (2 bedroom), we didn't use their transportation as we had a car but it's really close to WDW entrance. You can walk to a small outlet village across the road and there is an Irish bar on the complex. You can't really walk to anywhere else though so it depends what you like to do with your non-park time. The pool is lovely but a friend went in June and said it was in the shade by late afternoon. We stay onsite now but if they ever stop EMH we would definitely stay here again.

This is where we always stay when we take the band kiddos every 4 years. LOVE this resort! The rooms are so spacious and well equipped! Huge closet in master suite plus jacuzzi tub AND separate shower. Just in that master suite you could have someone in shower, someone in jacuzzi tub and someone in toilet cubby and someone at sink without cramping.

Good to know! Did you ever use their shuttle? It seems like they have very limited times and only drop off at the Epcot Transportation Center.

Never used the shuttle, we are always there in 4 charter buses.
