So, we've never been to the Boardwalk and want to try something new and Kouzzina had openings. Couldn't find many reviews or pics for their dinner. Anybody have anything??

NOTE: The food, although named "Greek" resembled Greek in name only.
Very, very Americanized. My $32-steak was dry and her $27-lamb was
overcooked. Both had to be sent back to the kitchen. The daughter had
the sampler. Pretty small, 6-7 bites for the three items. Poor room design
makes terrible/horrible acoustics, making it one of the noisiest eateries in
WDW, worse than Chef Mickey’s on a bad day. As many people have offered,
the service is VERY spotty. We waited 19-minutes to see the waiter AFTER
being seated (seated at 5:54pm, waiter at 6:13pm). If anything, go for the
breakfast and have dinner elsewhere.

THINK: For breakfast it's the grapes . . . For dinner it's the pits.

(I guess when you get to be a famous chef, you don't care about your
restaurant, as long as the bucks flow in - or it seems that way.)

I could not disagree more with this review. We absolutely loved our dinner at a Kouzzina and it has become a must-do for us. It is now in our top 5 (along with Kona Cafe, Via Napoli, Sanaa and The Plaza).

I had the trio (more than enough food for one person), DH had the lamb and DD had the Fisherman's Stew. Everything was perfectly cooked and our server was attentive (but not overly so) and friendly. We can't wait to go back in two weeks.

Us too., We have been there three times and loved it each time..and my husband is Greek!

I was there in August. It was delicious.

Also, I have a pic, but it won't let me post it.

While we've only had breakfast there. We did enjoy it enough to go a second time and will go back on our next trip. The food and service were both very good.

I thought it was decent. Everyone else in my party disliked the place strongly

While I hold RustyScuppers's opinion in the highest regard, I have to disagree with him on this one. My visit to Kouzzina was awesome and I have ADRs for our upcoming trip.

Everything we ordered was delicious. I don't even like brussel sprouts and I couldn't get enough of them at Kouzzina! My friend and I split the fish of the day and the serving was so large that the two of us couldn't finish it. I can't comment on dessert since we had no room left to try it.

The service was a little slow to start, but I just think the waitress was taking her cues from us. We were relaxing and enjoying our cocktails. I find it is usually the opposite problem at WDW, the service is very rushed.

I recommend Kouzzina to everyone.

Oh, forgot to add... it is kind of noisy in there - there are a lot of hard surfaces, not much fabric, and an open kitchen.

However, I find Chef Mickey's to be WAY worse. While I think there are several reasons to avoid CM, the noise is at the top of the list. My visit to Kouzzina didn't come close to that kind of noise.

It's funny, the restaurant is essentially the same as it was when it was Spoodle's - I think even the chairs are the same. However, my memories of Spoodles are louder. Perhaps it is because the food wasn't as good then?!

People have to realiise that everyone has different tastes, palettes, etc. Take the reviews with a grain of salt. I personally LOVE greek food, but when I look at Kouzzina's menu, i dont get excited. Which is why I havent booked an ADR there yet. Cinnamon on meat doesnt appeal to me, (thats just one example). Maybe eventually i'll make my way over there because I like to try new places. But for now, there are other restaurants im more excited about. I learned to trust my gut with restaurants. Something told me not to go to Tony's or Ohana. I didnt listen to my gut and went anyway, and guess what? I was VERY disappointed with the food at both places.

I agree with this review. While I am glad we went to try it, it is not on our go back to restaurant for dinner. The biggest disappointment was the greek doughnuts for dessert. I would like to try it for breakfast though.
