According to the UN, there are 193 countries (with some debate). How many have you been to and which ones (please don't include holdings of other countries...for example, the Cayman Islands are not a country)... For a good reference see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states

I've been to 20 (so far!), they are:

Antigua and Barbuda
Australia
Austria
Bahamas
Belgium
Canada
France
Germany
Greece
Ireland
Italy
Japan
Luxembourg
Netherlands
New Zealand
South Africa
Switzerland
United Kingdom
United States of America
Vatican City State

Depends on how you count it. :) I landed in Switzerland & drove through a portion of it, but never actually did anything, so it may or may not count. (The airport argument. :) )

I'm taking it that touring the countries in Epcot doesnt count right?:lmao:

I have never been outside of the United States. I have just never had a desire to.

Not sure what you mean by this. The Vatican City is considered a sovereign state.

When I studied Italian, ages ago, I had to do a paper about the sovereignty (is that a word?) of the Vatican State, some things in their contract with Italy are pretty interesting, like when a murder happens at the Vatican, the Vatican police investigates, when a resident of the Vatican is murdered in Italy, the Vatican police gets to investigate, too.

Every country of the Euro zone makes their own coins, the Vatican coins are highly sought out and never make it to the regular market.

Not that many yet... I am only 16 but I love travel and hope to go to more countries in the future

England
Scotland
Wales
France
Sardinia
Germany
Austria
Belgium
Hungary
USA
