it was a last minute change of plans and I am beyond thrilled with our new arrangments. We were going to do the dolphin swim at Atlantis but decided that Discovery Cove is the place to be. So on our disney cruise, we will stay on board and do what ever our hearts please. We have never been before, and would love and suggestions and or tips for Seaworld and Discovery Cove.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Your going to have a great time! Get there early, the earlier you are the better dolphin swim time you will get. It can take awhile to get breakfast so plan that into your day too.

Take an underwater camera :) I suggest getting one that will last since the pictures on the disposable ones don't always come out very well. I was very disappointed in mine last trip but the ones I got on my Lumix were great!

So jealous. IMHO, it is WELL worth it. There are little huts and you just go up and grab any snack or order any drink (including beer, wine, mixed) that you like. The new otter part of the river (forget the name) should be open then. We were going to go in mid May but it is just not in the budget this time. :sad2:

There is really so much to do there. I liked the snorkeling better than Hawaii. the lazy river was great, the bird aviary was wonderful (bird food included). And they had more than enough beach chairs.

You will have FABULOUS time!

We are going June 1st and are so excited. DH & I have done a dolphin swim before at Marathon Key, but this will be the first time for DS(12) & DD(9) along with auntie, uncle and cousins.

Would have like to have a cabana but with 11 of us it would need two and I can't justify the cost so we will just enjoy finding some shade and cooling off in the water.:cool1:

my DH and DS (8) and I went 3/29/12 and had THE MOST amazing time!!!! I was nervous about spending all that money but all three of us were blown away!!! just having everything included made the day relaxing and peaceful. the reef blew us away! my son was too afraid to swim there so the hubby and I took turns going there while the other stayed with my son in the fresh water area. the dophin encounter was quick but didn't feel rushed and was very informational. I would pay the money to do it again in a heartbeat!!! You will have an AMAZING time :)

I haven't booked yet, but will be booking this week for May 29. DD & I are arriving at Disney May 28, we'll do the dolphin swim on May 29 and then Seaworld on May 30. The rest of the time, we'll do Disney!!!

I live in Bush, but I work in Mandeville (Hwy 59 by I-12). It's a small world after all!!! lol
