Hi Everyone,

Here is a short(LOL), but sweet recap of my 6 night stay at the Wilderness Lodge-11/25 thru 12/01:

We arrived on Saturday at noon, had to wait on our room. I had faxed and requested that our room be ready early, but it wasn't-No Big Deal! Plenty to see and do while you wait. We were given a Magic Kingdom facing room(#4022) as requested along with an personalized and autographed photo of the characters for my daughter, also requested by fax.

The rooms are none too small(we are a family of three. The WL is beautiful! There are decorations everywhere-it is themed so well. We ate at the Territory Louge and Roaring Forks mostly-snacks and a coupla breakfasts. Very good-especially try the lounge for the steamed shrimp-huge and plentiful!!!!!!

Here is where we ate with my 2 cents worth!

Chef Mickey's-character dinner-food was good-character good-NOISEY as all get out! I will not do dinner there again-I prefer the breakfast.Goofy, Mickey, Chip, Dale, Donald Duck and Max(Goofy's son)

Cindys-character breakfast-food was good- characters magical! A definite do again, one of my favorites. Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, F Godmother, Alladin and Jasmine

Ohana-character breakfast-food was very good-alot of fun for the children. A doer again-Goofy, Mickey, Chip and Dale

Artist Point-character breakfast-having done this before it was disappointing this go around. The food was mediocre. Tigger, Pooh and Eeyore not very exciting. I would skip it to try another.

Liberty Tree Tavern-LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!-great meal and great characters.Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. They were at our table constantly.

1900 Park Fare-character breakfast-WONDERFUL! great buffet and characters-Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pinochoi and Gepetto(I can't spell, you know who.

Finally, MVMCP-FANTASTIC-worth every penny! Beautiful and long parade. We loved the fireworks-they were all around the kingdom. We even saw the space shuttle launched in the middle of it all! I would do this one every year if I could. It snowed on Main Street, hot chocolate and family photo locations. The whole setup was great. We ate LTT prior to the party and just waited in the lobby to go.

This was my best trip ever! I could go on and on. Please feel free to ask me any specific questions, I will do my best to answer. :D

Should I have made reversations before hand for the character breakfasts/dinners. We are staying at WL from Dec 11-18 with four chilren ages 15,13,5 & 3
Sounds like you had a great time.

There were twelve of us at one time, then we went down to just 8. All of my PS' were made ahead of time with the exception of 1900 Park Fare. We just took a notion to go there prior to leaving and called the night before-no problem! I think it is a pretty quiet time of the year and you probably could get most any PS you wanted(maybe not Cindy's). LisaH, you will love the lodge-just beautiful! If you get a chance, grab some grub from Territory Lounge. Enjoy and feel free to email any questions! DDBeth83@aol.com

Sounds like everyone had a great Disney trip. Thanks for posting!

Sounds Great. I think maybe the meals that pooh and his friends attend are a little lacking. The crystal palace breakfast is a real circus. There is alot of noise alot of people and thecharacters don't spend enough time with you so you are rushed and you have alot of people trying to get another crack at the character behind them. I went to dinner at the Liberty Tree with some friends and was nicely suprised of the layed back atmosphere of the characters to the guests. We went in December and everything was great all the characters came over and spent sometime with us and when we were finished eating the waitress asked if we had seen all the characters so if hadn't then they were going to go get them so that we could meet them. The food was good we had steck and turkey mashed potatoes veggies and fresh baked rolls it was a great time and we got some great shots of my sister hugging minnie and chip and pluto.
