June 2010 deals

I'm considering June- do they have as good of discounts since it's summer? It would be the first time we go in summer. I'm just not sure about taking the kids out of school anymore as they get older.

I'd like to go just as soon in June as possible to avoid some crowds, but who knows how many snow days we'll have to make up? We are supposed to end the school year May 25...if there's only 3 snow days we could leave May 29, but if there are more, then we go on past Memorial Day and that puts us a few days into June. Is Memorial Weekend bad for crowds?

Add me to the list!!! We are looking for June 8-15. I got the pin through 6/3, but was unable to extend past 6/3. I rather have the June 8 start anyway.

To the PP who asked, it was the first week of November last year when the 4/3 came out for June. I booked my trip the very day it came out!

The 4/7 deal was released in November for last June. I think it was pretty early in the month as I remember being on hold to book while I was sitting in the car at DD's outdoor soccer practice. Sorry I can't be more specific but that might help you plan a little.

I am pretty sure that it went through 6/27 when it was first released.

I just got off the phone with a CM who was giving me quotes for a possible trip next summer (June 22-July 6). I asked if Disney was going to continue the free birthday admission since my DH's birthday falls within these dates. (I kind of thought they weren't but wanted to ask anyway.) He told me no, then proceeded to tell me about the Give a Day/Get a Day promotion. But... then he said he was CERTAIN that Disney would be offering some kind of deal next summer. Now, I know we all take CM's comments with a grain of salt, especially ones about deals that Disney has not yet released. But still...it keeps me hoping!!

Hoping for deal for June 21-29. Stayed at the GF in August under 4 + 3 -- that was a FANTASTIC deal. Now my mom and dad and my sister and her family want to join us on a WDW family vacation in June. They were a little shocked when I sent them AAA room-only pricing at the hotels my family would like to stay at (GF, CR, and BC). Not to mention we'd still have to pay for park tickets and airfare from California. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

hmmmm--I copied and pasted directly from the mousesavers website (the stuff in red). I just went to look and I see it's not there anymore. I wonder if they posted it and then it turned out to NOT be an actual discount available (yet)?

FWIW, I got the exact same information in an email today from Disney Destinations, but it requires a pin code. Of course, I can't use it-- I need something for the end of June that will get me through the firs week of July.
