This is my first time participating. It's work isn't it! Especially the organizing part.

Well we are finally "home" and having a blast. We ate at the Yachtsman for the first time last night and it was fantastic. We are off to Epcot today. I understand the parks are really going to be crowded. Not only is it a holiday weekend but Disney is apparently offering locals major discounted 3&4day tix for this weekend. We will see. I'm excited about experiencing the new Test Track! Anyone else heading to Epcot today?

I second that! it's CRAZY! We got to Epcot early so we managed to do quite a bit before we left. We went back and took a resort break. I took a quick swim but it was pretty chilly for swimming. I just love the pool at the Beach Club.

For those of you still packing, you are not missing much. Just crowds and more crowds.........see you guys tomorrow

Hey all. This is RollTide2000 just wanted to give an update we are in room 10010. I saw on the PDF our room wasn't listen. On the way there! Safe travels!

I am so sorry we missed the met up I thought it was 2:30 and then we were a little late because we were stuck in line changing our dining rotation.

First of all let me apologize for the room number mistake and not making the DISmeet.

I had a room change and had my website partner make the change, but I guess he forgot. I was busy all last week studying for a national certification exam and was more into that than the trip. My exam was last Thursday and we left Friday morning. I found out friday night I passed the exam. YEAH, but in my rush out the door forgot my laptop and realized it at the airport, which is an hour away. So to go get it would have been a 2 hour trip.

Then at Art of Animation, our rooms got screwed up and I had rooms in two separate buildings. So I had to wait for them to find us adjoining rooms.

Then our bus to the ship didn't leave until 12 and we got held up at check in as the info I did online was only partially there. We spent time having to fill in paperwork again and do flight info. (HINT: This will haunt us later)

Finally got on the ship at 3:30 and no lunch...

Then AC did not work correctly. They finally fixed it while at dinner.

So then in the bahamas, Aaron is yelled at by some woman that wanted money from him. I warned him to stay close to me, but no he had lag behind.

Then I thought the dark cloud was lifted from us like the on Castaway Cay. We had a great day on the island and fun at the pirate party.

Then we got our flight info, and only part of the family got their tags. It appears that info we provided at the port did not make it into the computer and they were not going to let us leave for the airport. I had to argue with the guest services guy until a few other families came up with the same issue. Appears the port agent was a trainee and didn't enter the info correctly.

So we get off the ship and get stuck with the customs agent from hell. Wanted to know if my wife got her engagement ring in the bahamas, or my daughters walmart earrings were really diamonds or if I was carrying any cash. I guess they had problems with people smuggling in diamonds, but if I had extra cash on me, I probably would have been on another vacation.

Finally at the airport, everyone makes it through screening except me. I get scanned twice and of course the scanner picks up something in private region. My wife and family are cracking up, because all of a sudden I have a weapon of mass destruction, as my wife put it... So I am escorted by two tsa agents and searched for 10 minutes. And then I'm released and make it home.. YEAH HOME!!!!

So next trip, I'm contacting my buddy in New Orleans to get me some good ju ju beads so I won't have such a horrible time.

Overall, it was a good trip, just full of surprises. Like our server who disappeared and never returned. Yes we had a change in servers at dinner.

So once again, I apologize for not being at the meet or the room number issue. I shouldn't have broken that mirror, or walked under the ladder, or ran over that black cat that crossed my path. Just kidding, I didn't run over it..

Hope you all had a great trip and maybe one day, we see you again.

PS: Forgot to mention our luggage. This is what my daughter's luggage looked like. Of course it wasn't their fault.

What an amazing trip!!
Sorry we missed you Ramon and sorry to hear of all the headaches you had to endure.
Thanks to all for the great gifts! My girls had a blast checking every time we were coming or going.
Didn't get an opportunity to meet a lot of you but we did meet a family (georgiasmom) and we're planning on sailing together again!
So much fun, lived up to our expectations and then some.

Well we made it home just in time to get our daughter from school. We had a Great time of just relaxing. We cant wait till our next one February 1st next year on the Fantasy. Had no problems driving home except having to push our drive a little longer on Thursday to get ahead of the bad weather for Friday morning. We met some great people on this cruise. We are sorry that we did not do the FE. The wife is already in charge of the FE for our next cruise. Thanks to the Lanes you guys are so much fun and we hope to see you guys again.

Yes that was me. My wife had a picture of pumba painted on a shirt for us by a good friend that does custom artwork and paints tshirts on the side.

By the way, Pumba is my 14 yo Boston Terrier and he is my shadow. I got him as a baby and he's rolly polly like his daddy. He also likes to dig in the dirt and eat bugs. That's how he got his name.

We just got home Already missing the weather. We had a blast and it will not be out last cruise. We are already planning another with myacammom! Our girls had a blast together. I realized a day or so into the cruise that some of us may have been at the wrong meet up spot. We were at the soft serve ice scream stand with a few others. Later I saw Flo's and realized some of you may have been having a meet up there

We love participating in the fish extenders. Thanks for all the gifts.

Got off the plane and it was 30 degrees and Friday it snowed. What a shock from beautiful, sunny Bahamas.
