Sorry folks....

Bt I've cancelled the trip in September. I felt that the budget I had now
didn't allow me a chance to travel this time. Perhaps next spring I'll have a
better economy to allow some travelling. We'll see what happens.

I hope you all have a great time at Disneyland, if you're going!

oh I'm planning a trip.

I just think Now isn't the best time to do a trip. I'm hoping
my economy will improve by the fall, though. We'll see what
happnens.

Thats a shame you have had to postpone, but at least this way you can have a bit longer to save & have a nice spending spree when you finally go again:thumbsup2

Oh that's a shame but hopefully you can soon book another trip.

I think we will all be facing tougher times over the next year. :(

Well, I paid for the trip, except that I didn't book the trian trip down to
Malnö, which was more expensivce than I thought. Unfortunately, the
dollar is not good these days. This was a tough desicion to make. I think
in the long run, though, it'll pay off to wait until another time to do some
travelling.

Such is the way of life. Hopefully things will look better next spring.

Hope everyone has a good summer ahead!

I should perhaps explain that I'll have a great advantage by waiting to
travel to Disneyland next May (that's the month I want to go). I'll have some
more spending money to use (hopefully) by that time. And, I also hope that
by that point, the dollar will strengthen enough, as well. My primary reason
for cancelling now is that the value of the dollar wasn't in my favor. as it
really isn't for anyone, really.

I've set aside some of the money that I paid for this trip in the form of 2
gift certificates (I giot a discount for erbooking before). I'll book the bus
trip in November, since they offer a discount for the trip. I figure that I'll
save 50% on the next trip by doing this at that time.

It'll only be another 5 months before I book the trip, and another 6 months
until my trip for 2009 takes place.

Travelling by bus has it's advantages:

1 The bus trip from Malmö directly to the hotel (overnight). You leave 8 am
in the morning in Malmö and arrive in the morning and check in before
heading for the park . We have a long stop in Bremen for dinner and a walk.
We stay at Hotel Kyriad, since the trip has to be on a budget.

2. The park tickets are included in the price of the trip.

3. You have 3 other excursions to Paris, including a day in the city. a
dinner, and a visit at the Eiffel Tower.

4. The bus leaves in the evening on the third night. We arrive back in
Malmö the evening after.

Discounts are offered for early bookings in November, since one has a better
chace to book in the trip as he or she would like to plan it. If one is lucky
enough, one can book in at the last minute for a cheap deal. including
everything. I think it'll be a lot of fun to look forward to another trip after
two years. The bus company is very good. too.

It surprises me that there aren't any bus companies in England that offer
trips to Disneyland. I think this is a very good way to travel to Disneyland.
especially given that you travel directly to the hotel. Ok, so the hotel isn't
a Disney one, but for me it's a simple matter of sleaping 2 nights, and
spending time at the parks. The bus transport takes 15 minutes only.

I may have to wait longer to get back to Disneyland, but the wait will be
worth it! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Oh yes, the wait will definitely be worth it! ::yes::

There are companies who run coach trips from the UK ~ the biggest one is Leger and quite a few DISers have used them. :)

I am happy to read you are not too much disappointed, sure you will have a great time next May :thumbsup2

Well, I'm NOT very desperate, like thelittlemermaid83 would be, travelling
more than a few times! She's been VERY desperate to be there often.

I enjoyed being at Disneyland. Although my way of travelling isnät the
cheapest way of going, I do find that the buss package to Paris and
Disneyland is the most practical way to travel, as it included the ticket,
bus and hotel all in the same package.

One thing I'm really looking forward to seeing is Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show,
which I would not have been able to do if I had gone ahead and went now.
That's a good reason to wait until next year, or when the dough I'm
waiting for comes in my safe!

It's good to check here, as it's veruy informative! I envý those who have
been to DLP on a regular basis...

So, May 2009 is the date i've set. All I have to do is wait until November.
