LARGO, Fla. -- A Pinellas County park said Thursday that it will not allow a nude beach.
About 45 Tampa Area Naturists hoped to convince the county's park board to approve a ''clothing-optional'' beach at one of three secluded sites at Fort De Soto Park.
If approved, the nude beach would be the third in Florida and the only one on the state's west coast.
Most of the petitioners were seniors, according to the report.
The one board member, Ava VanNahmen, praised the group's efforts.
The group plans to take its cause to the Pinellas County Commission, which said no to a nude beach in 1999.
Bonzo any idea where the other two are!!!!!!
