Island near St. Marteen for Excursion (Anquilla?)

We are planning on our next Eastern cruise to visit St. John while in St. Thomas but would also like info. about the smalll Island you can visit while in St. Marteen- I believe it's called Anquilla? Any helpfull info on this or possible links would be greatly appreciated!

To get to Anguilla, you need to take a taxi to Marigot, on the French side. From there, you take a 30-minute ferry to Anguilla. I think the ferry costs maybe $10, and you have to pay a $2 departure tax. Same prices when you return.

Not too many people on the DIS Boards have gone to Anguilla, but those who have remarked that it was a highlight of their trip.

We had an absolutely fabulous time touring some beautiful remote beaches in Anguilla. We chartered a powerboat for the day - complete with captain and guide.

I would thoroughly recommend this as a way of seeing Anguilla - although it's not a cheap way of doing so.
