Is there a way for me to check if Category 2 opened for my HDDR ADR?

I made a reservation at Hoop Dee Dee for our upcoming trip. The only category that was open was 3. If I go to try to check for a category 2 opening, I have to cancel my current reservation to do so. Does anyone know if there is a way to check for other category openings?

I believe the online system holds the old reservation until your new reservation is confirmed? But if you prefer, you can call the dining reservation line and they should be able to check for you.

Can you look at WDW dining without logging into MDE to see what is showing up?
