Is there a separate line for redeeming GAD?

I'm just curious how the GAD's are being handled! We will be redeeming ours at Epcot and I wondered if there was a separate line.

Thanks!

All GAD vouchers have to be redeemed at Guest Services before entering the parks. GS lines are seperate from regular theme park entrance lines.

We redeemed all of our GAD vouchers at the Will Call windows outside of Epcot, DHS & AK. At MK we did it at the TTC.

When we redeemed ours at the TTC, we had to go to the Will Call window. We (me and parents) first turned in our AP Disney Store vouchers at the ticket window, then someone escorted us to Will Call so we didn't have to wait in line again. DH turned in his GAD certificate for the free day, and they did his AP upgrade immediately.

When I turned in mine for the Fast Pass later that week it was at Will Call again at the TTC.

Thank you! Is there a guest services at Downtown Disney? We'll be at the BBB first and then heading over to Epcot. It might save time!

You cannot redeem the GAD voucher at DTD at all.

The CORRECT line is the Will Call line, not Guest Services/Relations, at any of the four main parks. At MK itself, the Guest Relations is often also the Will Call window (there is a sign pointing to the Will Call window, which either points to the GR windows, or the small building nearby.

TTC also has a Will Call window if you happen to be there.

IF you are there early and GR is open but not the Will Call window yet, THEN I'd go to the GR window.

If we are staying on property and riding the bus the morning that we want to turn in our GAD voucher and upgrade it to a longer ticket, does anyone know where we go? Is there a Will Call/Guest Relatations where the bus drops us off? I know there is one over at the TTC?

Thanks!!

I assume you are talking about Magic Kingdom...so to quote myself from a few posts before:

I'm sorry, yes I am talking about the MK. I could not remember if there was a Guest Relations outside or not.

Thanks for the info!!

What time does the Will Call window open (how much before park opening)?

What time does the Will Call window open (how much before park opening)?

In general at least 30 minutes before people are allowed into the park for anything, including early ADRs.

Is there a will call at the international gateway entrance for Epcot? We will be coming from BWV.

Last week we went to the Will Call windows at each park EXCEPT for MK. I guess because it was soooo busy for Easter last week and this week, they had a signboard up with an arrow on it pointing to a little gazebo building off to the side for GAD voucher redemption. This may change after the big rush dies down.:confused3

Ah...that building does act as the Will Call window on busier days (which I posted about earlier in this thread). Most of the time, the GR window is also the Will Call window.

We went to the stand alond building yesterday at MK. It was sooooo slow! There were two people working and the line was about 30 people long at 11 AM. I never thought we'd get to the front of the line. It seemed like each person was taking longer than necessary. The CM had to write the date and MK on each fast pass (which I thought could have been done ahead of time!) Scan the tickets etc. It just seemed like she was working in slow motion. My husband who redeemed his voucher for a ticket had done it at the TTC and we met him at MK with everyone else to get the FP from my son's voucher. It turns out we could have done it all at the same window at the same time at MK. So we also wasted time waiting for him while he waited in line at the TTC before he then had to wait at MK. But it was finally done and we enjoyed using the super FP. It does get confusing however trying to remember how many times it was used and which ones were used!
I think I'd recommend using a marker on it each time it is used if you are not using all of them at the same time at the same rides!!!

That was a good suggestion that someone gave before...bring a Sharpie with you and check off on the card what you've used...

We used our vouchers at MK on Sunday. The line is very clearly marked and is actually roped off in case there many people waiting. There was CM at the beginning of the rope line making sure you are there to cash in vouchers. There was probably 5 windows open and there was no line to speak of. This was about at 9:30 a.m. It did take awhile to do all the transactions but I was doing 3 different things so that was understandable. One thing that was different than I expected was that each person had to come up and do the finger scan thing. Many of the boards have reported that there family members did not have to be at the window but mine did because of the finger scan thing. I think the CM we got was just a stickler for the rules. My DDs and DH were driving me crazy at the window asking questions (I knew exactly what I was doing!) and I kept trying to send them away but ultimately they needed to be there for the finger scan. The ironic thing about that is that when you went to the gate, the finger scan wasn't even being used!

Were you using the vouchers for tickets or Fastpasses? I've been hearing more that they are using a finger scan to tie the GAD tickets to the people right away...I haven't heard it for the Fastpasses yet (they just scan the tickets to insure they have a valid day to be used).

They may have changed things though...
