Is there a November Check-In Thread?

I'm thinking about taking the family Nov 4/5th but I'm wondering if a lot things will be shutdown to remove the Halloween decorations? Anyone know about that?

Haunted Mansion Holiday stays open all through Halloween Time and the holiday season, so that will not shut down for the removal of the overlay until early January.
Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy will shut down after 10/31 for the removal of the overlay, but I don't think it's down for longer than a few days. It should be open by at least one of your trip days unless it is scheduled for extra maintenance. You should be able to view the early November schedule on Disneyland's website now and see when Space Mountain is scheduled to reopen.
As for the current Halloween Carnival a.k.a. Big Thunder Ranch (which will be transformed into the Jingle Jangle Jamboree for the holiday season), I'm honestly not sure if that closes or not. It may stay open and the decorations are just removed and swapped out overnight. You should be able to find that on Disneyland's calendar and schedule for early November too.
Halloween Time -- as fun as it is -- really doesn't require the same level of work for decorations and removal of decorations as the holiday season does, so it's not as lengthy of a process and it doesn't take as long to complete.
Some of the holiday season decorations will actually already be up by the time of your trip, because it takes a while to put all of them up around the parks and the Enhancement team gets started early.

So excited for my trip, even if it's only for two days! We're staying at the DLH, Nov 8-11, but will only be in the parks on the 8th and the 10th. REason is that we're attending a wedding on the 9th in Irvine, but we took the opportunity to squeeze in a visit to the parks. We're only pulling DD1 out of school one day on Friday as she has Monday off. We're driving from Nor Cal.
It's a surprise for the girls as they only know that we're going down for the wedding.
Another added bonus is that my friends from college have decided to join in on our visit to DL with their kids, too! There will be 15 of us in our group on Sunday!

Going on a birthday trip with the best friend on the 9. Staying at the Disneyland Hotel that night.
Not positive my trip will happen now. My 91 year old mom fell and broke her hip. She had surgery but not sure how recovery will go. My 94 year old dad is having a tough time dealing with it. Our tickets are with SW so I know we can postpone but so need the trip to de-stress from all the previous things I have dealt with regarding them. And it was getting so close too. Will post if we cancel.

Sadly, by the time we were ready to book the PPH was sold out on points, and we didn't have enough points in the budget for DLH.
So we downgraded to the Marriott Fairfield Inn. Still going to Disney though!
And got an extra day off work so from the 8th to 11th now!
