Is Presidents Day Weekend truly packed?

Is is so packed that we should avoid the Magic Kingdom on Sat., Sun., and Monday? We can go at the end of the week, but it will be hard for me to wait that long! We will be traveling with a 2 and 6 year old, so if it's truly crowded, we may do other parks, and save Magic Kingdom for the end of the week.

And another...YES...:thumbsup2 ...pretty much kicks off the beginning of SPRING BREAK season! That whole week will be busy so you miles well just head to MK early and just go the FP route to anything you really don't want to wait too long for. You are better off going to MK during the week but it'll still be busy. One strategy that "might" help is going to MK later Mon. afternoon when the locals are heading out but there will be plenty of spring breakers heading in.

Spring Break in mid-February? I've never heard of such a thing! For us midwesteners, college spring break is the middle to end of March, and high school is the end of March, early April.

We have been to WDW several times during President's Week. The schools in the Northeast are closed that week, so it is a very popular time for families to travel to WDW. Also, the Daytona 500 is the weekend before President's Day, so many people go from that event to WDW. If at all possible, avoid the Magic Kingdom on that weekend through President's Day - the crowds do subside somewhat later in the week.

Not as bad as some other weeks, like spring break week for elem. and HS students, but still very busy.
