Is it too early for Black Friday secrets?

I was just wondering when we can begin looking at the ads. It seems it is usually around the first of October. Maybe just wishful thinking.

I'm a merchandise manager for a fairly big Department store, and I have yet to see or even get a clue to the Black Friday specials! At least I get a vacation in before the chaos begins!
