Is it just selective memory or are resale prices way up?

The only VWL contract sale shared with the board since the start of June was for $65 pp. Listed asking prices are not necessarily current selling prices.

I am currently closing on my VWL resale. We got it at $68 pp.

We paid $75 negotiated down from $85 four months ago for VWL. So you got a great price at $68

If trend plays its part and it should.
As the Real Estate market went down Time share prices went down.
As the Eeal Estate market goes up Time share prices will go up.
In general Time share prices do up and down at a far faster pace then houses will.
The reasons markets in this case Real Estate go up and down have many reasons... But at the present time Real Estate is going up and DVC is Real Estate.
However the bottom line is the price per point in the end does not matter that much as you will pay far more in dues over time. Also consider other fees that along with a timeshare such as airfare, park tickets, food etc....
even GF at 165 a point over 50 years is 3.30 a point a year the dues are higher and will only go up...
