Back in the pre-internet days I ran a Depeche Mode fanzine called "alamode", and their record company in Britain (Mute) still sends me invites to meet up with them when they come to Toronto.

Oh, you're so lucky!!! I've loved them since the 80's. I lived in a little south Texas town and never got a chance to see them even in concert. About 4 years ago I finally saw them for the 1st time. My husband surprised me with front row tickets to their show. I was directly in front of Martin Gore. At one point he looked at me with a very puzzled expression, I was crying my eyes out like I was in pain!!! I think he thought I would rush the stage. Of course, the thought did go through my mind.
