I Will NEVER Eat At _______ In WDW Again!!

1. Le Cellier - Last 2 visits, steaks (filet mignon) horrible. We live in an area with fabulous Steak restaurants. Just not paying for lousy food at Le Cellier again.

2. 50's Prime Time - I can go eat at my mom's to be harassed.

3. Most any food venue @ Hollywood Studios except Hollywood Brown Derby.

I will never, ever again eat a hamburger that is served at the ABC Commissary/Sci-Fi at HS; I think they share the same kitchen if not the same lousy beef patties.

Completely bland and dry, eating it felt more like chewing on a old leather baseball mitt. The fries and shakes were OK.

Tony's Town Square Restaurant at MK will never have the opportunity to serve me again. The food gave me flashbacks to my college days when Chef Boyardee was a dietetic staple. Pass.

Unfortunately I will never eat at Kouzzina's again, but only because I will not be there before it closes. The best meal of our 10 day trip in 2010 was the fish stew at Kouzzina's. But a return trip in 2014 yielded less than satisfactory results. Inconsistency is what seems to have doomed this restaurant, but there is definitely a place for this type of cuisine at EPCOT or elsewhere on Disney property.

My son had the same experience. It took a couple of years for him to start ordering burgers when we went out.

2. 50's Prime Time - I can go eat at my mom's to be harassed.

This! (Though my mom doesn't harass me.) I ate there on our very first trip when I was ten. I was still in the phase where I didn't like eating veggies, and I had some green beans on my plate that I didn't want. The waitress went overboard and really embarrassed me in front of the whole restaurant, and my family continued to tease me about it. I'm really sensitive and it upset me. If it had been one of my recent trips I would have come back at her, but at that age I let it get to me.

I was interested in going to Whispering Canyon until I discovered they had the same kinds of antics there. No thanks...

I've never really had a TS meal I "hated" in terms of taste. I think some of these places have just become worse with time, because some that are commonly complained about were great when we went in the early 2000's (CRT for example).

As for QS, I do have some complaints there- BOG lunch was awful, and QS pizza is awful (ala Pizzafari, not flatbreads which are great!).

WOW, reading all the post, has made me contemplate three of my ADR (T-rex, 50's and Ohana). Yes I know my experience might be different, but Im the not the type to pay for some thing and if its not worthy of my hard earned cash I will have it sent back, or just call my CC and have it canceled.

Here's the thing, to me, there is no BAD experience just different strokes for different folks. I've never had bad food but they all can't be Artist Point experiences (awesomeness) ::yes:: I would keep your ADR's unless you read something you really didn't want to experience. For me 50's wasn't bad food I just didn't want to be "harassed" while eating and verbally sparring. I'm not sorry I did it but I probably won't do it again. Some people really enjoy that interaction and at times I do but not that day.

Threads like these are great examples that we all have different experiences and likes/dislikes. It's almost a guarantee that just about EVERY restaurant will be listed at some point. And ones that are listed as "YUCK" by some are listed as "favorites" by others.

For me, the only WDW restaurant we've eaten at and will never go back to is 1900 Park Fare. The characters were good, but the food was terrible and it was one of the most expensive bad meals I've ever had. We've done other expensive character meals (including CRT) and have always liked the food just fine. But 1900 Park Fare was just so "blecch." The flavor, food temperature, cleanliness, etc. were all poor IMO.

Electric Umbrella in Epcot!!! So disgusting:ick: I had the vegetarian flatbread and I had to go back to the room to be ill....it was awful:sick:

I haven't read all the other reviews, but I'll just comment on your post right quick. We eat at T-REX every visit. My family loves it. We've tried the cod, shrimp, chicken fried chicken and lasagna. We will keep going back. You may pay a little more for the experience there, but IMO it's a little tastier than most Disney restaurants. I've never been to 50's and we've had breakfast at O'Hana. It was good, but I don't know that we'd go back. It was just so expensive for breakfast. I do want to try dinner there, but I've read such mixed reviews so I am hesitant.

Tutto Italia. It wasn't terrible, but for the price ($26 for a rather dull bowl of pasta), it should have been much better than it was. My husband was really looking forward to the lasagna, but thought it was only so-so. We've enjoyed meals at Olive Garden just as much or more. Our service was okay, but we didn't receive much assistance with the menu, she had no wine pairing suggestions, and we felt a bit rushed, though the restaurant wasn't anywhere near full.
I'd read reviews saying it was just okay, but since DH loves Italian I wanted to fit it into the trip. I wish we'd either saved money and just sampled at Tutto Gusto (we had a cheese and meats plate later that week that was great!), or spent a bit more and gone with another signature. Honestly, at those prices we were close to signature territory anyway.

The Fountain at the Dolphin.

We were staying at the BWI and decided to try it since DH read it was "just like Beaches & Cream"

It was truly the worst meal (and to compare it made Electric Umbrella look amazing!) we had in 7 days. Everything was just gross, even the kid's meals (hot dog and mac & cheese)

We've never enjoyed the food at coral reef, love the restaurant but 3 times of ok to not liking food is too much for us

Bluezoo. They definitely made us feel out of place and you do not get your money's worth. The food was just OK, they seemed miffed that we were splitting a few things instead of going all out and rolled their eyes when they saw we weren't ordering more drinks. Many large business parties there, probably ordering & drinking on the company dime so we were clearly wasting their time. Our waiter never came back after our drinks/app order and left it to his assistant.

Be Our Guest (dinner). Food came out cold and the check was abysmally high for food quality - the portions were proper for once which meant we could not split an entree as we usually do, which likely contributed to the expense. We also had to wait an insane amount of time in line to even check in - far longer than even O'hana. I had been excited about 'scoring' an ADR at 180 days out but the couple in front of us had no reservation and was escorted in before we were so that feeling fizzled too. A child barfed right next to our table and it took FOREVER for them to clean it up, so while we were waiting for our entree we had to look at (and smell) it. Our waitress tried to cover it with cloth napkins but it was on the table, chair, everywhere. I couldn't stop wondering how well she washed her hands...

I would have left instantly. Especially if they didn't clean it up on the spot! That's just revolting.

We loved the character interaction at Akershus but didn't like the food at the all. Didn't like food at H&V either, however I am going back :worried:. Only because my DD4 is a BIG fan of the characters. So I am going expecting the food won't be good. Honestly, I wasn't really impressed by any of the TB restaurants. Actually the best thing we ate while on vacation were the chicken sandwiches at the GF quick service restaurant.

After reading this thread I am seriously reconsidering my ADR's for
50's PT & Chef Mickey's (especially CM). Is the character interaction on it's own worth a visit to CM?

Will not be returning to Pizza Planet. I have eaten better frozen pizza from Aldi.

CM: Walmart of Disney Restaurants. :lmao: Our one and only experience was like others described. Waiting in long lines for food, just to get to the front and all the food had been picked over and not replenished. About the time a character would be close to the table was when they would bring out more food.

I was interested in going to Whispering Canyon until I discovered they had the same kinds of antics there.

I wouldnt rule out WCC. When you check in for your reservation, you can request to sit in the "back." There are a handful of tables that are just outside the main dining room and much quieter.

We have eaten at WCC twice. Its not on my worst list, but we are taking a break for a while. While liking the food, we could not get our waiter to get into the theme of things. We loved the idea of really bantering back and forth with the waiter: asking for ketchup, refills, etc. We were a little bummed and we just chalked it up to our waiter having a bad day and just not into it. Fast forward two years. We were seated in the back and while disappointed because we wanted to have a different experience than last time, I knew my DS was not in the mood to wait much longer for a table. We thought we can still have a good time with the waiter/waitress...until we got the exact same waiter from the first time. :sad2: Again, food good. Experience not.

Worried we should move our 1900 Park Fare reservation. :confused3 We liked the food last time but we have such a late reservation I'm worried the quality of the food won't be as good as it may be earlier in the evening.
