A five paragraph essay based on one quote alone?
Ick.

I'm gonna search for some right now.

EDIT: I really like this one, want to try this out for size?

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. -Abraham Lincoln

Oh jeez, then I better get on the quote searching. :rotfl:

Carl Jung: There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.

Carl Sandburg: Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.

Franklin Jones: Love doesn't make the world go 'round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile.

Goethe: A useless life is an early death.

“Fear is the enemy of logic. There is no more debilitating, crushing, self-defeating, sickening thing in the world--to an individual or to a nation.”
-Frank Sinatra

I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are.

Either you karate do "yes" or karate do "no." You karate do "guess so," end up like squashed grape.

I've actually written an essay on that before. We studied the Karate Kid in freshman year. I like the quote myself, I find it humorous.

i did an essay on "a dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep" - mack david, jerry livingston, al hoffman (the songwriters)

"All y'all need to calm down, take a break, eat a cookie!"

- Lisa D'Amato

i could write books about that quote. five paragraphs should be easy.
