I have a theory about the low crowds...

We are here now and this is our 5th Dec trip in 6 years. The crowds are normal for this week. This is nothing new.

Third trip in four years during this particular week for us. Same crowd levels as usual it seems. Crowd levels are super low in the morning (due to the cool weather I suppose) and then the parks get cramped in the afternoons.
