I have to admit, I'm a huge fan. We have been using FP+ since October and it we love it!
A little info on our family. We are a family of five (DH, me, DS 15, DD 11, DS 9). We are DVC members and annual passholders. Our 9 year old does use a wheelchair to tour the parks due to mild CP. Currently we live in SE GA so we are only 3 hrs away allowing for quick two day trips, but the first time we used it we were AZ residents and that trip was a more planned 7 day trip. I am a compulsive planner when we lived further away, but now that we are so close are trips are more spontaneous and usually I don't get FPs until the day before I leave. This past year we have experienced the parks staying on and offsite. (DVC points don't seem to last as long when you at least one weekend a month ). I use the app on my iphone and have never had any problems with it working. I have changed FPs all the time while in the parks and never had an issue with it.
I keep reading that since FP+ there is no way that you can ride more than 3-4 rides a day. I really beg to differ. That has not been our experience.
We just got back from a weekend trip. We were in MK this last at. It was a very last minute trip meaning we booked SSR and the FPs on that Thursday. We got to the park at opening and was on 7DMT by 8:16. We had FP's for for BTMRR between 9:20-10:30, so we decided to ride what we wanted in FL then be at BTMRR by 10:30. In this time we were able to ride PP (new queue is AWESOME!), IASW, Little Mermaid, Dumbos including sometime to play in the play area, Barnstormer. We also walked around a few shops and had a snack. After BTMRR, did the Hall of Presidents, had lunch then used FPs for Space Mtn, then walked on to Pirates, used last FP for HM, rode Jungle Cruise, got a Dole Whip, rode Carousel of Progress, watched the Dreams show at the castle, did Monsters Inc and did some shopping at the candy store and ears shop on main street. We were out of the park by 4 in the afternoon. We were never rushed and I felt that we got to do quite a bit. DD had a friend that had never been, so we tried to let her experience as much as possible.
What I like about FP+ is that I can ask my kids what they want to ride and usually I can get he FPs. At some point in our trip, so they know they WILL get to ride it.
This is an example of most of our park experiences with FP+. We love it!
