I finally got a "deal" at Walmart

They are totally clearing out the scrapping section (we are down to 1/2 of a small row at the store closest to me) and I found Ashlyn's Alphabet & Calligrapy for $18 each They also had a black Expression with 2 carts (the standard font & something else) for $249 is that a good deal? It was funny they also had a black Expression with no carts for $249. Should I jump on the E (w/carts) or keep waiting for a better deal???

They didn't have any extra Ashlyn's alphabets, did they? I don't have that one yet.

That is not really a good deal on the E. The black expression was one of 4 colors they had during last year's black Friday. It sold for $180. November isn't that far away, so I would hold out until this year's BF ads. Unless you really want Serenade. That should have been the other cart in the bundle. However, there were issues with people buying the bundle, returning it without Serenade, and Walmart never checked. So people would buy it, and not find them in their boxes. Serenade is just a Solutions cart, but is pretty popular.

I'm practically stalking my WM, but they NEVER have deals like that. My nephew is going to college next year and I think he wants a Cricut. I'd love to find him one on clearance and then talk the rest of my family into chipping in.

Ohmycrafts is having a good sale this weekend, I just got 5 cartridges for under $96. Don't forget the coupon LABOR10 for 10% off. I picked them up for Christmas gifts for the daughters.

Walmart also has the Cricut Tool Set for only $10! The one that normally retails for $24.99 at places like Cricut.com, Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

The carts on "clearance" at my WM were Jasmine for $45, Cars for $34, and Graphically Speaking for $23. I didn't get any.

So, DH and I checked three Walmarts in our area and only found 1 Ashlyn's alphabet and they wanted $40 for it and told me they would NOT price match so I left it there. Sorry

This just frosts my tush. I went to our Walmart to get the tool set after being told that it was $10, however, at our Walmart nothing was on sale, it was going for $19.99. Carts were $35 for Solutions, and $89 for all else.

No sale at the Wal-Mart I shop at either. And I never see anyone buying any of their carts either.
