I Can't Do That! I'd Be Too EmBEARassed! A Nov 2015 TR New PTR link 10/13!

Im here! I followed that shameless plug from mo's report!! Im excited to read. I was there 11/8-11/15

Yes you are!! Winner, winner chicken dinner!

First one here!!!! Now to go back and read...

So close but Mo was just a tiny bit faster!!

Nope, I was beaten here by Mo. :sad2:

Awww, but at least you are here and that is all that counts!!

Here! Great start! :woohoo:

D~

Hi D~! Glad you are here!

They need to get their act together!!! :sad2:
::yes:: We did. my kids LOVED you... :hyper2:
yeah yeah....
I really don't like the new animation!!!
This guy looks thrilled!

The PP thing was a bit of a pain this time. I didn't do as many borders as usual. I saw some of the ones you did and I swear I didn't have all those options. :confused3

Awwww, glad the kids liked me. I had a blast with them, such great kids!

I'm not a fan of the new animation but it was still fun to watch the cartoons. You know I'm still 5.

Well I'm sure he was quite bored at that point, I think they were on day 3 or maybe 4 of the taping at that point. I would get bored watching the same float over and over.

OMGoodness..I want to be there so badly now!! Even that ketchup smeared hot dog looks delicious because I know it is from Casey's! Arianna, I know you will not disappoint when it comes to enabling my Disney food photo addiction!

Oh, and the photos of the guys filming the CHRISTMAS parade in SHORTS... love it!

Oh yeah, lots of food pics coming up! Wait till you see the Garden Grill ones. OMG soooo good!!

I didn't mention it but it was definitely warm that day! I came from 40 degree weather in Atlanta to mid 80s in Orlando and it was quite a shock.

Hi! I'm here! So glad to have another TR of yours to read :)

Glad your flight went smooth. So awesome landing early enough to head straight for the park, sounds like a good start to the day!

Thanks Alexis! I need to get over to your TRs and get caught up. I love going to a park on the first day even if it's only for a few hours.

You will just have to plan another trip with your DH once the star wars stuff opens in hollywood studios.
I can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip. My next disney world trip is a resorts only trip. Still not sure why and how I agreed to that.

Hi and welcome! Oh we definitely will be going back once Star Wars Land opens. Of course with the speed Disney adds stuff it will probably be at least 2020 before it's all done.

You made it back to WDW! I am here and ready to follow along once again!

Arrival day looks great.

Hi Ryan! Thanks for following along. I see that you are heading back in January too but towards the beginning of the month. I need to get caught up on your PTR.

Count me in :)

Hi Suzi!! :wave2: I had a wonderful time hanging out with you, Bradey and D~ on this trip.

I'm here too! You sneaky little thing planning a trip to WDW and keeping it a secret! It looks like the trip is off to a fantastic start!

Hi Lisa! Yep I was very sneaky this time around!

Can't wait to read all about your trip! 10 days would be so wonderful :flower1:
I think 7 has been my longest stay.

Monica

Hi Monica! I enjoyed meeting and talking with you this trip! It was wonderful to do 10 days although I was missing DH and the doggies by the end. I really didn't plan 10 days but it just worked out that way.

I'm here too! A top secret 10 day trip??? I'm so jealous! Especially since you also got to hang out with D, Suzi, and Mo.

I'm so glad there was an update about Eddie and that he is doing well. :)

That picture of the castle is beautiful! Can't wait to read the rest. I always love your TRs.

Yep it was top secret this time, even most of my family didn't know till closer to the trip. It was so much fun hanging out with those guys on this trip. Glad you enjoy my TRs.

Joining in! Looks like a busy first day.

Hi and welcome! I always hit the ground running on my trips. I just love being in the parks so much that I have a need to get there right away.

Yay! So happy to be reading about your magical trip.

I'm so happy to hear that your little Eddie is still hanging in there. He looks like such a sweetheart; I just want to cuddle him!

Love your pictures of Pirates!!! And your decision to sit in the back. Mom and I went on it and of course ended up in the front row.....soooooo cold and wet afterward. Ugh.

Can't wait to see where you went next!

Hi Jackie! It was a nice surprise running into you and your Mom at Epcot. Are you doing a TR at all? Let me know if you do so I can join in.

Eddie is my baby and I do love cuddling with him. Unfortunately he's not a huge fan of cuddling anymore. :sad1: I think with being blind he doesn't feel comfortable in a lap anymore. I do make him once in a while though. :rotfl:

I always end up soaked in the front row of Pirates. Once I got as wet as you do on Splash. No more front row for me if I can avoid it!

Joining in! Looks like a good start to your day and trip!

Looking forward to hearing more about your trip!

Hi and welcome! Thanks for stopping by.

Im here! I followed that shameless plug from mo's report!! Im excited to read. I was there 11/8-11/15

Yeah I trapped another one!! Did I say that out loud? Thanks for coming by and joining in, I hope you like the TR. We might even have crossed paths on my first three days.

I can't wait to hear all about your trip. :)

Hi! Thanks for joining in!

Killing Time with My Favorite Bears

So I had about an hour to kill before my BTMR FP would be ready to use at 2 pm. Since I was right there and had nothing better to do I headed into the Country Bear Jamboree. Aw, who am I trying to kid, I ran into the theater pushing kids and adults aside to get to my favorite bears. You see, I LOVE the CBJ and especially Big Al so heading in to see them next was a no brainer. And yes, I know every word to every song but do try to sing only under my breath so that I don’t puncture any nearby ear drums. I am definitely not a good singer.

I always take pictures too because in my mind there are never enough pictures of my bears (or any other ride/show at WDW for that matter.)

Yay here’s my guy! Why oh why does Disney no longer make CBJ merchandise? I had a Big Al stuffed doll when I was a kid and I really want a new one.

I still had a bit of time after the show so I browsed through the pin store. I do a bit of pin trading but I can never remember exactly where I trade for each pin. So I will just post all my trades at the end of each day.

It was finally time for my BTMR FP so I headed there. As you can see by this first picture, there was quite a line but I didn’t really take note of too many wait times this trip. With my FP I was on very quickly of course.

When I finished with the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” I realized I had the same exact problem as when I exited Pirates, over an hour till my next FP. I had originally planned to watch the FOF parade in between my two FPs. This would have worked perfectly if Disney had not moved the FOF parade to 5 pm thanks to the Christmas parade taping. Oh well, I would just have to catch the parade later in the week.

I did realize at that moment that the decision to eat healthy at lunch and sub apple slices for the fries may not have been the best idea. I was hungry and I still had four hours till dinner. I can get very hangry if I don’t eat so I decided that a snack was a good idea. If you’ve read my previous TRs you should know what snack I was in the mood for. And if you haven’t just know that I am OBSESSED with Disney cupcakes. I never had a Dumbo cupcake from Big Top Souvenirs so that’s where I headed next.

It was pretty crowded in the Storybook Circus area but I found a seat in the shade so I could enjoy my treat.

While I was sitting there eating, I noticed that I had a missed call and voice mail from my husband Jim. I also had a text from him that just said “call me please”. Uh oh, this could not be good if he was this desperate to get a hold of me. So I called him immediately without even listening to the voice mail. It turned out that Sierra had been throwing up all day and he was panicking. She had thrown up in the middle of the night but I hadn’t thought anything of it since dogs throw up all the time. But all day was a little worrisome. I had him run some quick checks to see if she was dehydrated and also to see if she would eat at all. She did eat a little and seemed fine otherwise so I told him to give her till morning and if she wasn’t better, take her to the vet. Turned out she was fine the next day but I was a little worried till I talked to him again.

Oh and as for the cupcake, it was kind of nasty. The cake part was a little stale and the icing was runny and super sweet. I won’t be getting one of those again. The Dumbo on top was made of white chocolate and wasn’t too bad.

So after eating Dumbo I decided I should go on the ride (that sentence is just wrong in so many ways, isn’t it?). The wait was only 15 minutes which was about perfect timing for my next FP.

I picked a green Dumbo since I like green. And the color of your Dumbo is very, very important of course.

When I got off the ride, I noticed that there was a PP photographer with the extra Dumbo so I headed there. I purchased Memory Maker with Mo so I was going to try to get as many photos as possible to get our money’s worth. I think these turned out pretty cute.

The photographer noticed my Pluto gear and asked me if I had seen him today. I said that sadly I had gotten to the park too late and he had already been done for the day. They cut the meet and greets at the front of the park very short that day, once again due to the parade taping. But she said no, he wasn’t done, he was meeting right next to Pete’s Silly Side Show and I needed to head there next. Well she didn’t have to tell me twice and I headed that way at a very quick pace.

CBJ! I also wish they had merchandise I believe there was a shirt online not too long ago but that's about it.

BTMRR is always a good time.

I love that cupcake. I haven't seen that one before if they have it in January I may have to get it.

Great Dumbo photo!

Great choice of attractions in between your FP+! I love the pictures you took on Dumbo. And so nice that there was a PP outside the standalone Dumbo, never seen one there before!

Ohh a secret Pluto meet? Can't wait to hear about it!

Your photos are fantastic! There are so many things we have not done yet in the new Fantasyland! Double Dumbo is one of them. I have been crying over photos of this beauty since 2013...cannot wait! Oh Disney cupcakes...I will miss them. This trip will be so different for me dining-wise with my GF diet now. BUT, Disney is great, and I know I will still have some yummy stuff. I have decided, however, that two of my faves are worth risking a bit of an upset tummy for: school bread and the jalepeno pretzel! Better pack the digest oil for those, LOL!

Sorry the cupcake was a bust :( That little Dumbo on top looks so cute.

You are making awesome time on your first day. I'm glad everything worked out with Sierra. It's no fun when our furbabies are under the weather.

Hi Ariana! I am the one who stopped you at Osborne Lights - my name is Rachel, and I realized afterwards that I didn't properly introduce myself. So sorry! I was so surprised to recognize someone just randomly walking by and hope I didn't freak you out. :) It was great to meet you and I look forward to reading more about your solo trip. I really enjoyed mine!

I'm pretty sure I saw you on the morning of Sat 11/14. We were in the line for PPO breakfasts and I told my husband I thought I saw someone from the DIS but she wasn't supposed to be here so nah it's just my imagination. And then I come home and WHAT!?! it was probably you. I'm not super social so I probably wouldn't walk right up and say hi even if I knew you were supposed to be there. I'm more the type to walk behind you and loudly say something to my husband about a TR I was reading on DISboards. LOL. Would've been fun to meet you though. I live in Alabama near the GA line near Auburn so not toooo terribly far from Atlanta ways. Maybe some other day!

Since I was right there and had nothing better to do I headed into the Country Bear Jamboree.
We have always liked the Country Bears. We have ducked in there when it has been too hot, too cold, too rainy or just had some time to kill. The Bears are like old friends, part of the earliest memories of MK.

This trip will be so different for me dining-wise with my GF diet now.
You'll just have to eat ice cream, instead. ;) And gluten free Mickey waffles are delicious.

The PP thing was a bit of a pain this time. I didn't do as many borders as usual. I saw some of the ones you did and I swear I didn't have all those options.

Your kidding?!?! You should have said something i would have done them for you!

Awwww, glad the kids liked me. I had a blast with them, such great kids!

Liked you? They are wondering when your coming to visit.. You have been adopted!!!

I'm not a fan of the new animation but it was still fun to watch the cartoons. You know I'm still 5.

Yes yes.. I haven't forgotten.. This is just another reason why we love you!

Well I'm sure he was quite bored at that point, I think they were on day 3 or maybe 4 of the taping at that point. I would get bored watching the same float over and over.

good point!

I had a Big Al stuffed doll when I was a kid and I really want a new one.

awwww.. we need to find you one!!!

I can get very hangry

BAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA I love that word...

but I was a little worried till I talked to him again.

This is scary when one of the babies are ill and your not close enough to help...

So after eating Dumbo

:scared1:

That green Dumbo is a wee bit dirty isn't it?!?!

I came over from Mo's report. Reading now. I really want to do a solo trip some day, but it won't be happening anytime soon, my kids would kill me.

Great Dumbo photo!

I do have the CBJ shirt that was online. They also had a CBJ glass/mug that you could buy with a drink but I forgot to get it this trip. Hopefully I will remember in January.

I'm not sure I would recommend the cupcake. It was definitely not the best on I've had at Disney.

Great choice of attractions in between your FP+! I love the pictures you took on Dumbo. And so nice that there was a PP outside the standalone Dumbo, never seen one there before!

Ohh a secret Pluto meet? Can't wait to hear about it!

Thanks I love both the CBJ and Dumbo so those were easy choices to make.

That's the second time I've found a PP photographer there. Not sure how often they do that.

Your photos are fantastic! There are so many things we have not done yet in the new Fantasyland! Double Dumbo is one of them. I have been crying over photos of this beauty since 2013...cannot wait! Thanks, I do get lucky once in a while with the photos! I love the double Dumbo as it makes the line much shorter. I rode it as a kid of course but always skipped it in the old location because the line was too long and in the sun.

That's too bad that you can't have the cupcakes anymore. I do know they make a lot of GF options I think you just have to ask. I know I saw a GF brownie somewhere, maybe in the All Star Food Court.

Sorry the cupcake was a bust :( That little Dumbo on top looks so cute.

You are making awesome time on your first day. I'm glad everything worked out with Sierra. It's no fun when our furbabies are under the weather.

The Dumbo on the top wasn't bad although I'm not the biggest fan of white chocolate. But I definitely did not add that one to my must have list.

I did pretty good on this first day despite the crowds. But I knew it would be crowded and planned accordingly.

Hi Ariana! I am the one who stopped you at Osborne Lights - my name is Rachel, and I realized afterwards that I didn't properly introduce myself. So sorry! Hi Rachel! It's great to actually "meet" you. :rotfl: You didn't freak me out but I was a little distracted because I was on the lookout for Mo and family. They were somewhere in that massive crowd but I never did spot them that night.

I'm pretty sure I saw you on the morning of Sat 11/14. You probably did see me because I was in line also that morning. Where were you headed? I went to BOG. If you ever do see me again don't hesitate just come say hi! I love it when people recognize me, it makes me feel like a celebrity! :rotfl2:

We have always liked the Country Bears. We have ducked in there when it has been too hot, too cold, too rainy or just had some time to kill. The Bears are like old friends, part of the earliest memories of MK.

I feel the same way about the Country Bears. I remember them vividly from my childhood and always love revisiting them when I'm a MK.

Your kidding?!?! You should have said something i would have done them for you!
Liked you? They are wondering when your coming to visit.. You have been adopted!!!
Yes yes.. I haven't forgotten.. This is just another reason why we love you!
good point!

That green Dumbo is a wee bit dirty isn't it?!?!

Well for the borders I really don't mess with them too much anyway. I almost prefer the pictures without them because sometimes they are so big they hide half the picture. I probably didn't spend enough time searching through them to find good ones.

We will definitely have to come out to Chicago sometime. I have family there that I should visit along with my new adopted family. :goodvibes

I have seen the Big Al dolls on Ebay but I'm always a little hesitant to buy used ones. I do it for Pluto but used stuffed animals are a little dicey.

I kind of figured that Sierra would be fine, I mean dogs throw up all the time. But Jim tends to panic so it's really hard to tell if she was really in bad shape or if he was just freaking out as usual.

Dumbo was dirty wasn't he? I didn't even notice that till you mentioned it. I do wonder if it is dirt or worn paint? Either way Dumbo needed some help there.

I came over from Mo's report. Reading now. I really want to do a solo trip some day, but it won't be happening anytime soon, my kids would kill me.

Hi, thanks for joining in! I do enjoy my solo trips that's for sure. Maybe once your kids are older they won't care so much. I know I went through a "Disney is no longer cool" stage.

Following! Can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Hi and welcome! Thanks for following along.

Pluto Mauls Me and My World is Complete

Pluto was indeed in the open tent next to Pete’s Silly Side show along with Marie from Aristocats. Poor Marie had zero line but I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss Pluto so I hopped in his line. It wasn’t more than a 10 minute wait and I was meeting my favorite Disney dog! He saw my Pluto purse, shirt and Magic Band immediately and pretty much attacked me with hugs. I’m not kidding when I said he pretty much mauled me. My head was in his mouth at least once! These are all PP pictures I’m posting. I did hand my camera off to one of the CMs there but they aren’t worth posting.

He checked out all of my Pluto gear and wondered why I didn’t have a Pluto watch or shoes. I did have a Minnie Mouse watch on so he was OK with that. I told him I would have to be on the lookout for some shoes for next time. I actually do have a pair of Vans with Pluto on them but they are not comfortable enough for me to wear in the parks. I broke my ankle pretty badly a number of years ago and it swells and is painful on a normal day let alone on a heavy walking day. At Disney I have to be very careful with the shoes I wear so it’s always tennis shoes for me no matter what the weather.

After all the hugs, he decided that we needed to pose like dogs and I ended up with my favorite character picture from the whole trip. This one is definitely going to be framed!

I like this next one too but I prefer the first one because it shows all of both of us.

I got a few more hugs before heading out.

Overall probably the best Pluto meet I have done and definitely the best one of the whole week! And yes, as usual, I met him multiple times during this trip.

I still had a few minutes so I headed over to meet Marie. I had not met her yet and considering there was just one person in front of me it was an easy decision to get in line. She was very sweet but definitely a letdown after the wonderful Pluto meet. Mostly it was just a hug and a quick picture.

It was finally time for my last FP which was for the Haunted Mansion so I made my way there after Marie.

I always try to take pictures on the ride and I actually had some luck this time.

It was getting close to 4 pm by the time I finished with HM so I decided I needed to head out of MK. My dinner ADR was at Epcot at 5:55 so I wanted to give myself enough time to make it there. Main Street was now open although they were still filming some stuff around the Hub. If I remember correctly it was a Toy Story float they were filming. I will definitely be watching the Christmas parade this year with a new eye after seeing how tedious the filming is!

It was still pretty crowded as I exited and you can see that people were already lining up for the FOF parade at 5 pm.

Up Next: Will Dinner Be “Third Times the Charm” or “Three Strikes You’re Out”?

Such amazing pictures with Pluto! I'm glad it was a great interaction. And nice that you got to meet Marie while you were there too!

Looks like you had a fantastic meet and greet with Pluto. I always love those types of meet and greets they are the most memorable.

I agree about the shoes. I always tennis shoes in the parks as well.

They take a whole week to film the Christmas parade so it is definitely a show rather than just a parade. The people who go to he filmings are definitely dedicated people.
