Does the Hyatt still offer this hotel stay/transportation package? We did this in 2006 and it was great. But that was a long time ago....

Yes, the Hyatt MCO still works with DCL. You let the hotel know you have DCL transfers booked ($70 round trip per person or $35 one way per person) and they will give you an info letter at check in. It will explain the procedure the next morning.

Basically you pack up and leave your checked bags in your hotel room where they will be collected and delivered to the port.

You go down the ME desk in the airport and catch the DCL bus to the port with your carryons. You do not have to be in the room when the luggage is being collected. you can go have breakfast or head down to bus.

Technically the Hyatt MCO doesn't offer this as a package, but they work with DCL to make it happen. You can book the room and transfers thru DCO OR you can book the transfers thru DCL and get the best room deal that you can on your own--it doesn't matter.

When you check in, tell the desk that you are with DCL. They will put your room number on a list for luggage pick up and give you both an instruction sheet and a form to give to Disney for them to verify that they got the luggage. It is very smooth......
