How many "day bags" per cruiser?

My cruise is getting closer and I keep thinking of one more thing I don't want in my checked bags! So, I know I have to keep day bags with me until my cabin is ready, but that's no biggie to me. I travel for work all the time with my roll aboard and a carry on/personal item. So, can I do that here, too? Like a back pack and a rolling carry on per person? As long as I keep the sizes right? Just double checking! Thanks!

You can carry on as much as you wish as long as it goes through the scanner and you keep it with you until you can access your room.
