How long from contract closing do you receive your member # and pts get loaded??? We just purchased a BWV resale and for mothers day my husband said we can go back to Disney World :cool1::cool1::cool1: So I curious as to when I will be able to get this trip rolling! Thanks!!

Since you are a new DVC member you will need to wait until your member # letter arrives in the mail (or you can call about a week to 10 days after closing and try to get member admin to tell you your member # though that hasn't been working as well for folks lately). We closed on an add on in March and here is my timeline, which is pretty standard:
3/8- deed recorded on Orange County Comptroller site
3/11- got e-mail from broker saying we closed
3/19- AKV was showing up on the member website under my existing membership (which were HH points) and points were loaded in the afternoon and we booked a Dec trip around 3pm
3/25- member # letter arrived in mail

So, 2 weeks from closing...basically (1 week if you are already a member).

According to our broker, 10-12 business days from when recorded deed is sent to Disney to process the transfer. For us, the recorded deed was sent to Disney within a few days of closing. Good luck & enjoy your points!

I was notified on April 17 of closing, and the deed was recorded that same day. I received a letter containing my membership number on May 2 and called Member Services the next day to set up my online account. My points were already loaded. So I would say give it around 2 weeks.
