How far in advance can you book Disney Crusie using points?

When using DVC points to book a cabin on the Disney Cruise Line, can you only book 7 months in advance (similar to booking at a resort other than your home resort?)

We are new DVC owners (BWV) and look forward to using this discussion board as a great resource for leaning the ins and outs of ownership!

Yes, it is 11 months out, but 11 months from the sailing date of your cruise. This differs a bit from resort reservations which can be made up to 11 months from your check-out date.
