I just put both our names in there and come up with old post from different threads. I don't think there is a way to stop it.

Hmmmm... someone mentioned something to me at some point about changing settings under "Profiles", but that didn't seem to work for me. Is there a way that I can contact a moderator or someone directly about it? I don't personally care about it for my posts, but I know some for whom it could be helpful.

Anything you post on the forums is open for anyone (including search technologies like the spiders used by Google) to access.

If you're trying to hide, it's not really a good idea to post on open forums.
