looking to stay January 2 for one night. Royal Pacific is $424. Can I expect that to drop? I have an AP. Should I book now? I want EP but that price is too much.

Jan 2 probably still in peak season

Check the website for which seasonal rate you will be in

Past years January rates dropped some days past the 2nd

Have to look at a calendar to see day of week that is

Couple years back I paid $187 ap rate, at rpr for January 6 start date

This year was at rpr starting with feb 3 for $204 ap rate

I would book later this year

But, you can book now at that rate and have it modified if that one night rate drops
And modify again if an ap rate comes out

When you book, they will request a one night deposit to be paid

So keep that in mind to tell them to refund the overcharge if you modify your rate later

Thanks. I'm sure Jan 2 is still peak. It's a Tuesday. If it stays this high I will have to go Sapphire Falls.
